SMVDU- My MBA Experience

I didn't apply for any other college because SMVDU is one of the reputed private universities across India and is also just 50 km away from my hometown. Moreover, it also provides access to campus placements. I didn't avail any quota for taking admission in SMVDU. For taking admission here, you need to behave minimum of 50% marks in your graduation and also go through the entrance test conducted by the universiy, moreover, you'll have a plus point if you've appeared in the CAT/MAT examination.

I chose this course because since childhood I was very curious to join my family business and to know and learn about the market sector I joined this course which allows me to join my family business. The faculty members are just awesome, well qualified, and helpful.

From the 3rd semester, students become eligible for the campus placements and start getting offers from the companies such as Shriram, ITC, ICICI, Hdfc, etc with a minimum salary of Rs. 3lakh-6lakh. 55% of students from my batch get the campus placements opportunity.

The fees hike policy is also good like for 1 year it only costs me 88000 which is not so expensive at all in the professional course like MBA. Yes, scholarship facilities is also available in the university for the students.

Titiksha and Tatva are only two annual fests organized by the university for the management students in which the students participate and display their talent. There is always shortage of books and journals during examination times. Inter-college sports competition take place in the university and Vikalp is the social group run by the students.

The rooms are good and have all the facilities available in the rooms like separate beds, almirahs, washrooms and many more. The food of the mess is not good in taste. For every student taking the hostel rooms are mandatory and for a year it will costs you around 18000
