I have applied at SRM, Woxen, NIFT, HCU, IIT and MIT, Manipal and I were more interested in doing a Chemical Engineering degree at Manipal. The minimum age was 17 years and the applicant must have at least 50% marks in 10+2. They must also qualify for the Manipal entrance test which is rank based and there are 120 seats available for chemical engineering.

I chose this course out of personal interest. Every student's education and college life is taken care of with teacher guardians for every student in addition to coordinators and class teachers. The faculty is well qualified and the teaching methods are appreciable. Term exams are held frequent enough for the student to gain maximum knowledge and the difficulty was moderate keeping every student's potential in mind.

Internshala is one of the organizations providing internship opportunities to its students. Tasks are giving according to experience and knowledge. Training in fields is also given to interested students so they can gain more knowledge and thus increase their scope for internships.

Placements are offered by reputable companies and the average package is 4.5 lakhs per annum. Students become eligible for placements during the seventh semester from August to December. Internships start in January in the eighth semester.

Scholarships are available for students with merit rank. Financial assistance is available to students who have lost an earning parent. There are internships available on campus and plenty of opportunities for growth in a particular field with student projects and clubs.

The Annual fest, sunburn and the tech fest, techtatva are held every year. However due to covid techtatva was held online in 2020, yet was still a major success. The library is a major source of information for the students and with student projects and clubs, everyone has opportunities for hands on experience for almost every field from research and development to arts and public speaking.

Hostel facilities provided to students are according to their needs, from single occupied rooms to triple occupied rooms and with or without AC. Food is provided keeping almost everyone's interest in mind and there are food places are available near every hostel and students have the option for opting for any of those.
