Remarks

You had to prove your mettle every time! It was like competing with the best in every aspect!

Entrance Preview

SNAP Composite percentile=95 Test percentile=99, I chose the course of IB from SIIB because of the international exposure. The curriculam was really good and they ranked really well on pedagogy

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculam was good. Proper research is done and every year the course changes as per industry which is what I liked the most. The digital marketing was just not taught but we actually worked on Google analytics building our website and everything was taught with practical exposure.

Internships Opportunities

The college provides internship and the general stipend range is from 10 k-60 k. It's on a person's capabilities and priorities as to where and how they want to intern. Companies line Asian Paints, Bisleri, Delloitte, HDFC bank and many others from almost all the sectors come to hire interns from the institute. Afew of them offer PPO's/PPI's too.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placements and job opportunities are good. I sat for around 10-12 companies before finally getting placed. After that also there were atleast 10 companies more to hire the marketing batch (50 students at my time). Majority of my batch was placed in first 15 companies

College Events

5

Ignisense is the management cum cultural fest. It is amongst the top 10 b school fests in India. The exposure in working for this fest was unmatchable. It taught me more than the classrooms could ever teach. Also Leadership series is one such event that brings alot of stalwarts to gether not only India but abroad. Each year there's a different theme based on India's relations with one/many countries.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is basically on a higher note but at par or a little cheaper compared to other private institutions. The fees structure was not divided properly. I feel they could have divided it equally into 4 parts rather than putting load in one semester and not so high in another.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are a couple of scholarships that are there and there are foreign student exchange programs. I wasn't interested so didn't know much. Also I wasn't one of the toppers so never in my dreams did I think of getting a scholarship.

Campus Life

4.5

The gender ratio was decent although skewed with males dominating over females. Parties are a trademark of symbiosis and we had parties for every small and big thing. Each community celebrated their festivals with a blast and there was a huge function every time.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facilities were good with 3 students sharing one room and one fan in each room. Each room has an attached toilet & bathroom. The mess food was pathetic according to me but many of my friends liked it. Forget about liking I didn't even know half of the vegetables even existed.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni connect was the worst in the past years but the new director has taken initiatives to make it better every year. College seniors were really helpful throughout. Our juniors were well behaved and really talented bunch of people I must say.

Exam Structure

We usually had some of the other exam going on (mostly internals). Internals comprised of 60 % of the total marks. There weren't many industrial visits though which is what i thought lacked but then there was plenty of exposure provided in the classroom to compensate the same.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of the college is above average. The in house faculty is average with a few really good faculty in every department. There's a few of them which aren't that great and really don't deserve to be a part of this college. The external faculty is beyond fantastic. The exposure given by them is completely mesmerizing. The experience level of each faculty is atleast 10 years and exposure ranging from media sector to fmcg to banking.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.
