Admission was done via an Online counseling programme based on the Gujarat board and Gujcet marks in 2016(now replaced by NEET-UG). And I got admission through the State quota applicable for students having Gujarat Domicile.
Course Curriculum Overview
Becoming Dr was a dream for me and my parents. Faculty students ratio approx 1:15. Faculty qualification MD or MS degree in the respective branch along with medical GPSC qualified.(Excellent qualifications) Exams were regularly held by Saurashtra University and were moderately difficult to pass for average students.
Internships Opportunities
The internship is well provided the Stipend amount and exposure to lots and lots of patients in different specialities like medicine, surgery, orthopedics,ob-gy, pediatrics,ent, ophthalmology,etc. Some emergency duties during internship (especially 12 hr night duties can get too much hectic and tiresome).
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees INR 6000/year as it is a Government-run medical college and it is a ridiculously small amount, even for a Govt college. No scholarship. Stipend provided during internship-INR 18200/month. Excellent value for money
Campus Life
The annual fest is called Euphoria and also there is a freshers party for new batch organized by immediate seniors. Only medical field-related books and magazines are available in Library. The classroom is nice and spacious with ample space and ventilation along with facilities like AV media,mic, and ACs(only some functional though) The sports ground is not present so a negative in that aspect
