KARTHICKRAJA.R's Review On Bannari Amman Institute Of Technology - [BIT], Sathyamangalam

I completed by Diploma in Automobile Engineering with a overall percentage of 98.5. I opted BIT for its quality in education and it has the best infrastructure facilities in India.

BIT is an Autonomous College so they have Syllabus committee. It includes The Professors of IIT and Research Scientist , alumni's. They will frame the Syllabus according to the current trends and technology. Each semester they will have a review meeting in this.

Placement is good about 80% of students are placed ever year and remaining will opt for higher studies. Both Core and IT companies will come for placement. Companies like Cognizant, Accenture, Titan, Solitron, HCL, Robert Bosch, L&T etc. Also MBA students are placed in leading Banking sectors.

According to Govt norms the fees structure was formed. In my final year my sem fees was about 45,000 rupees.Hostel fees also will be moderate between 1,00,000 to 80,000 per year. For first time we want to pay caution deposit for both college and hostel. It will be refunded after completing the college. And the mess fees are in dividing system.

Eligible students are having cash award of 25,000 every year and Bank Education loan can be availed personally. They also give scholarship for students performing good in sports.

A green campus with hi-tech facilities. About 30% are day scholars and rest are hostlers. 60% boys and 40% girls and we have many clubs for students extra curricular like Green echo club, Red cross society, NSS, NCC, Rotract club , Language club, photography club, fine arts club, yoga club, speech club etc.

We have alumni group all over the world and its well connected. Every year the Alumni chapter conduct meetings and discuss about job vacancy, internship and also they involve in social activities. Our college encourages alumni activities and updates.

For every semester we have three unit test one pre semester examination and final semester. Every day we will have lab hour and it will be interesting. Our college lab's are well equipped with latest facilities so labs are always good. We have two semester per year for each sem we have 7 theory subjects and 3 labs.

After Completing my Diploma in 2009, I applied for Lateral Entry Counselling Admission and it was held at Alagappa Chettiar college of engineering and technology at Karaikudi. By taking the total marks scored in diploma final year they will give rank in the counselling. From that I got B.E Aeronautical Seat in Bannari Amman Institute of Technology. I joined direct second year.

Each Students are having separate E-portal, all of their assignments, review's, faculty information are can be accessed through this portal.Each student will be given a separate login id and password. And they also can assess the faculty in person also. They are very friendly and interested to rectify the doubts if we have any.
