Remarks
Applied for the top engineering colleges in Telangana. Through counseling, I got into this college. The reason for opting for this college over other colleges is it has good placement opportunities. I availed OBC quota. The B.Tech candidates must produce a valid EAMCET cutoff and participate in JNTU counseling based on which allotment will be done. It is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University(JNTUH) and follows the guidelines set by it for admission to various programs. The candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 60% marks and 55% for SC/ST. The candidates should have secured an aggregate mark in TS EAMCET.
Course Curriculum Overview
The qualification of faculty is quite good. Many professors in our college have Ph.D.'s and others have M.Tech. The teaching method is through ppt. Only a few lecturers are good at teaching and sharing knowledge through students. We have semester exams twice a year. Each semester exams have two mid-term exams. Exams are not that tough, it is very easy to pass them.
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Companies like Infosys, Cognizant, Delloite, Amazon, Collegedunia, etc have visited. Infosys and Cognizant recruit more students. Amazon has offered the highest package of 18 LPA. The average package would be 3-4 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
My batch has a fee structure of 1 lac per year and now it is 1.4 lac per year. Students can easily avail for education loan. If the eamcet rank is below 10000 you can get full fee reimbursement if your parents are not working in the government sector. The others get a reimbursement of 35000. And SC/ST also get fee reimbursement irrespective of their rank.
Campus Life
We have many fests going on in our college like ADASTRA, RIGOLADE, ROBOVEDA, TECH VISION and many more. There are clubs like ROBOTICS, ART, BACHAN PRAYAS, IEEE, SPORTS CLUB, SAE CLUB, TECH VISION, CSAC(for civil servants),ECA NCC& NSS.
Hostel Facilities
I took a hostel in ghatkesar. The hostel fee is 4000 per month and I think now it has increased. The quality and taste during the initial days of the hostel were amazing. Breakfast and dinner were good. But the lunch was not that good.
