Entrance Preview
I'm pursuing Law and I have not given the required law entrance examination.I had appeared the JEE and had secured pretty good ranks as then,I wanted to do engineering. But when I got my mind set for Law, by then all the entrance exams were over but luckily,my college had some seats reserved for a few and I got one of it.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, my college provides internship. The general stipend is Rs 500. The college doesn't call the companies. They just refer our names to them and write a letter of participation to the companies to start the intern with.
Placement Experience
The 2011-2016 batch was the first batch since the establishment of my college and to many wonders, this year,out of a total of 40 students, 34 have been selected in placements and they were selected in pretty good law firms and companies too. The companies that came were Mindfire solutions, Khaitan & Co, Mindcrest India Pvt.Ltd and others. The minimum provided packages is Rs.25000 INR.
College Events
Many events are celebrated in my college. Many National festivals like the Republic day, the Independence Day, Gandhi Jayanti, Children's day, Teacher's day are celebrated every year with great joy and enthusiasm. Other events like the Annual Law meer. The Legal Spectra,which is also the biggest Law fest in India, is hosted by my college and a great number of participants are seen every year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite feasible.It's Rs 98000 per semester. That is, Rs 9,80,000 for a course( one lakhs of rupees each year,approx). Fees are collected annually. All other fees like, bus fares, hostel fees, canteen fees are also collected and they're excluded from the semester fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are given to students in the first year if they had secured at least 75% in the 12th board exams. The money is sent to their bank accounts. Loan facility is unavailable as of now.
Exam Structure
Exams are conducted as two semesters per year. And the exam dates are scheduled such that the students get much time to revise within. There are two large examination halls,exclusively for conducting exams.
Admission
I was asked to bring my Board certificates of both 10th and 12th grade of high school. Their minimum criteria of required percentage in 10th grade and 12th grade were 7 CGPA and 73% respectively and luckily I was eligible to fit into it. And then I was given certain university documents to fill in and then,I was enrolled soon.
Faculty
I would rate the overall teachings of all the faculty members with 10 out of 10. The professors and other faculty members makes sure that not a single student goes home with a single doubt. All the faculty members are available for clearing doubts. All comes on time to the class and their teachings are so good that I haven't seen a single student getting bored at the professor.
