Remarks

I applied for the JECRC foundation. The admission process was very simple. There are two ways : 1. Through REAP 2. DIRECT ADMISSION I opt for direct admission. There was no counselling. Minimum criteria were not mentioned.

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to pursue BTech in mechanical engineering and I found this college in my city which was a well reputed and well known College. Faculty : student ratio = 1:35. Teachers are having good qualifications such as. Mtech Btech MBA etc. Exams were conducted frequently. In a semester there are 2 MTT(midterm test) and a full course test and practicals. Paper levels are moderate.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 77000 per year

Placement Experience

JECRC Engineering College And Research Centre, Foundation claim that they provide 100 percent placement to their students and even students with back are also provided with placement opportunities. My plan is to pursue Mtech with a good college and then start a startup.

Fees and Financial Aid

Per semester 38500. And through reap fee is very less (Depends on RTU). Scholarships are based on your marks in class 12th. In covid time college also offered a discount of about 25 percent on the fees of 3rd and 4th sem for a particular period of time.

Campus Life

JECRC Renaissance is a cultural fest of jecrc. As for now, it has been conducted online in the month of June. There is a well maintained library with ample books available for students and faculty. Classrooms are also very big in size and well ventilated. Moon riders club, Spiritual club. There is a huge football ground. A separate basketball court and badminton court.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are not in very good condition. Hostel food is also ok. Rooms are also offered in ac and non ac. As you step out of the college there are many options for rented accommodation and pgs with starting package of 70 k and above.

Hostel Fee: INR 42500 per year

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

The placement of my college are good in electrical and mining branch the placement are very good while in other branch the placement is decent in this college many companies are visited like vedanta etc. many good companies are come here the 60 percent students are placed every year but in mining and ee the placement rate is almost 100 percent my plans after getting degree is to go in very good company with very good placement

Placement Experience:

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.
