Entrance Preview
I went through Management Quota. I opted this college as this college was quite famous and popular at that time and also ranked in the top 10 UPTU colleges. But after joining I was told by my seniors that the placement here is very unsatisfactory and it was famous just because of the earlier good batches. The only Good thing here is that we get good internal marks.
Course Curriculum Overview
According to me if you are asking about how good is the syllabus or the course structure of Electronics and Communication when it comes to research then I would say that every engineering field contains more than 40 subjects so its totally up to you in which topic you want to go for research because every subject is quite vast and interesting and has good scope in research.
Internships Opportunities
Well this college provides extra classes for additional courses like Embedded System, PLC and SCADA etc. and also gives certificates at the end of the course.
Placement Experience
Talking about Placements and job opportunities. The college has been blacklisted by many good companies including TCS however the placement have been improved from earlier. During my batch companies like Genpact, Maintec, ICONMA and many other companies came. The college also took us for off campus drives for companies like HCL and HP. The maximum package gone is 400000.
College Events
If you want to go in a college where you want to enjoy good fest and cultural and technical events the this one is your wrong choice. The management hardly conducts any fest or any other events for refreshments of students. I my self got only ONE fest in my 4 years of graduation. But certainly you will get some Technical and sports event each year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As far as I know It has the least fee when compared to other engineering colleges. In total you will have to incur approximately 1.5 Lakhs including Hostel and mess fees. So if you are budget constraint and want to take just B.Tech Degree you can join this college.
Fees and Financial Aid
No you do not get the scholarship by the college but yes you can avail the scholarship which is been given by the Government if you fall in their criteria.
Exam Structure
There are Two semesters in each year Three sessionals in which you can give only Two and Third is optional and few assignments in each semester. In this college its really easy for you to get good internals and also you can skip the classes and can pay fine at the end.
Admission
The process for admission is either through UPTU Exam or through management quota. And I went through management quota so no process was followed for management quota students. Coming to the procedure First of all you give UPTU Entrance exam and according to your score you will be called for counselling and there you will fill the names of different UPTU colleges according to your wish.
Faculty
When it comes to faculties I can not generalise them as either they were perfect or unsatisfactory as some of there were really good and interested in teaching and some of there were really least bothered. When compared to other branches the KN Modi has got best faculties in EC.
