MY CRITIC ON RVR&JC COLLEGE OF THE ENGINEERING

I have applied for jntuk, Sri Venkateshwara College, Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of engineering,jntu Anathapur, PVP Siddhartha college. In the above colleges, I have not secured cse seat. In our college, the maximum rank for an OC student to secure a seat in cse is 5000. On counselling day I was tensed and excited about visiting my college for the first time and I got habited to the environment shortly. The principal received the students and parents with utmost responsibility. When I was on my first time in my college, I was really happy to be a part of my college.

I adopt cse because I'm very passionate about programming and this passion helped me to do better work. I taught myself how to improve the quality of designing myself for a productive world. The quality of education provided by our faculty in our college is extraordinary. They have very good teaching skills they teaching everything in a particular way. Our college conducts two semester exams per year and they conduct two mid exams per semester. These exams are conducted to test the capabilities and grasping skills of the student.

Students are eligible for campus placement from the second semester of the third year. Some of the companies that visited our college are TCS, INFOSYS, CTS, WIPRO, TECHNOVERT and COVIUM. The highest package offered by the company to our students is 7lakhs, and the average package offered by the company is 5lakhs.75 percent of the students are getting placed in every year.

Our college annual fee is 69,400 and the common services fee is 1850. In our college, they provide scholarships to students whose family income is below one lakh. Our college provides financial support to students coming from low income families. Till now 2117 students are provided scholarships with an amount of total rupees 32623000. our college also provides merit Scholarships to the students.

Our college conducts youth fests which include technical fests, cultural fest, sports fest in February every year. In these fests, students showcase their skills and hidden talents such as drawing, dancing, singing. This is the best platform for the students to show their talents. Our college has a big library with many books. The library consists of many varieties of books which are more useful for our studies and also helpful for competitive exams. The college had demarked 13.5 acres of land for outdoor games namely cricket, volleyball, basketball, throwball and multi purpose ground for softball, football, hockey.

The girl's hostel accommodates nearly 650 students and the boy's hostel accommodates nearly 1250 students. NES women's hostel has 68 rooms with a total capacity of total 400 students. Each room accommodates 8 students there is a TV room, indoor games room, gym, convenience stores, computer centre and library are provided in the hostel. In our solar hot water facility. NES men's hostel has two blocks as block 1,block2. In both hostels each room is provided with two study tables, chairs and self locked almirahs and cots. The quality of the meals provided in the hostel is good and nutritional.
