Remarks
I applied for dr. Blal institute of biotechnology. And I attended every class because the teachers are very good. The admission criteria are simple you have to carry your 10th 12th mark sheet and TC of your school and some more documents, that will be informed by the college. We had counselling with our parents and it was done by the vice principal and some other teachers.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I want to go into the research field. The faculty student ratio is 500:30. Most of the teachers are PhD holders and the remaining are doing it. We have yearly exams but colleges provide midterms and pre University exams and the level is similar to our university exam.
Internships Opportunities
I don't remember the names of the companies but the roles are research field and marketing department and in laboratories and many more. The most recent project is covid rated and another is are cancer research project and we have labs for testings also.
Placement Experience
From the 5th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Many companies visit from different areas in India. The highest package for BSc students is 50000 and the lowest is 15 to 20. The percentage for placement is approx 80. I plan to go for further studies (MSc ).
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are normal. Fees for BSC biotechnology is 63000 for 1st year and 60000 for 2nd and 3rd year each. The scholarship is provided in 1st year based on examination and it's of 15000 to 20000. Job opportunities are good and have better labs than any other college.
Campus Life
There are so many college fests and events and we have a large variety of books in the library with many copies of every book. Classrooms are well furnished with AC. And it provides every sports activity which has counters for each. And there's a page on insta namely Blal institute of biotechnology.
Hostel Facilities
The college doesn't have hostels within it but it provides and guides students for one. And my hostel is very fine with good food quality. And registration is simple, you have to give security money and some documents they ask for. The location is very near to the college.
