Remarks

The admission process was very easy and simple. We first have to take a token from the office counter. Then we meet the principal with our parents/guardians. Then we have to fill 2-3 forms and submit them, and they will give you your roll number there only. Then there is counselling of rules and regulations, then the submission of fees. And you are admitted to the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choose this course because it not only teaches about the traditional b.com subject it also provides knowledge of management course. That's why it has added 'Professional' in its name. Talking about the faculty, they are very friendly and cooperative and support your growth. There is 1 faculty for 10 students here. The faculties are very qualified and trained with good knowledge. Here, there is there are two semesters in a year so there is 4 exam in which 2 are internals and 2 are externals.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The internship is provided by the college or you can do it by yourself. Talking about the stipend in an internship, it's mostly no stipend. At the end of your internship, you have to submit a report, on your internship experience which also includes 1 or 2 projects.

Placement Experience

3.5

You become eligible for the campus placement in your 6th semester. The highest package here is 14 lakh. And the average is around 6 lakh. Many companies come for campus placement like Vivo, Bajaj, Hero motor corp, and many from the media. The average percentage of placement here is 70%. I will pursue my masters.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees hike is a little unpredictable. Sometimes it increases at a high rate and sometimes with a slow rate. Different courses have different course fees. Scholarships are available here for sc/st students and Christian students. And also the government scholarships are available.

Campus Life

3.5

Annual sports feat and many seminars and national seminars related to social, economic, financial, environmental, technology, etc. are conducted in this college thought the year. Many books related to the course, novels, journals, newspapers, magazines, reports are always available at the college library. Every classroom has its own computer and a project for the presentations. The classroom is big and very open to the fresh air and light. There is also a big hall where all the functions are conducted. Many extracurricular activities happen here like, inter college competition and department competition in sports as well as academic. There are also many clubs like poetry club, dance club, theatre club, and there are also many clubs for social work.

Interview Experience

3.5

First, there was an MCQ test name Xavier's Entrance Test ( XAT). The question related to the course and some current affairs. The students who passed the XAT are selected for the personal interview. The interview was not soo tough, it was very easy.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum needs to focus on what you can do with information rather than the information itself. I wouldn’t eliminate content, without background we cannot form good, rational, and educated conclusions. We are still giving timed tests in math facts! I know that’s traditional, but it just isn’t as important. My era had no calculators and we needed to be proficient at paper and pencil solutions, but now, perfect calculations are available to everyone. We should focus on what kinds of problems can be solved with mathematics. Spelling is equally less important. Vocabulary should be stressed. My sister years ago was taking a test for a personal assistant position where she was asked to type a large number of words per minute error free.

Nothing influenced me yet i just have to go for it because of my graduation . Yes they prepare you good enogh for the rat race you are gonna do in coming future . The curriculam is a joke they will put information today and you have to get today only . I would suggest some of the rules and regulations should be maintained by the staffs and students even with teachers. Exams should in such manner no student can atleast face problems regarding admit cards and can cheat . there is no difficulty in in mid one but final one .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the B.Com curriculum at LNMU around 7.5/10 for relevance and coverage. I chose this course because it included all the important commerce subjects needed for government exams, higher studies like MBA, and basic professional courses. The syllabus builds a good theoretical foundation, but it lacks practical exposure like Tally, GST or real industry projects. Teaching methods are simple and could be improved with more modern, interactive approaches. Exams are held twice a year and follow predictable patterns, so the difficulty level is moderate. With notes and regular study, most students clear them easily.

Big 4 and some manufacturing companies who have large scale accounting are the ones who have partnered with college to get them the real workforce for their organisation. Course Curriculum Overview:

Firstly the college doesn't prepare students for the real world. Teaching methods of the teachers are okay but it doesn't help in the real world competition. No extra curricular activities are held for students. College gives enough time for preparation for the examination. Anyone can pass easily in this college.
