Entrance Preview
CAT. Results to be declared this coming January (2017). I opted for CAT because it is one of the most important and toughest exams and as a management student I want to do MBA after my graduation. CAT offers us to get direct admission to MBA colleges. My target is the IIMS and the XL colleges and a solid CAT result can only help me reach my target, which is very hard to achieve.
Internships Opportunities
Yes. I haven't received any but have heard from my friends from other departments. I think we will be getting internship offers very soon.
Placement Experience
I won't say placements and job opportunities are 100% but it is trustworthy. TCS, Cognizant are among the popular companies in the recruitment process. Also students needs to have a very good mark sheets to attract good job offers.
Exam Structure
Exam structure is simple and manageable. Classes takes place in a very proper manner and a stable time table is followed. Hectic days are a part of life so nothing much to complain about it. Breaks are always provided in between classes from refreshments.
Admission
It was a simple process. I had a short interview where I was asked about my class X and XII marks. I am from Commerce background and my favourite subjects are Marketing, English, etc, I said. When asked about my other interests, I said playing, watching Football, Talking with people, watching movies, listening to music,etc.
Faculty
Faculty is definitely good but there is always room for improvements. So management needs to improve the number of faculty members but the standard is good enough. Afterall, a good faculty team will not only benefit the students but also the college themselves.
