I also applied for many iits lower branch but I did not take admission because for future a decent branch matter not iit degree you have to good in programming which will provide you job .I choose mnnit Allahabad by seeing it's placement and internship stats .Admission is taken through jee mains exam. For getting branch information technology you need to secure rank around 5500 for general category home state quota. Admission goes through jossa councilling.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is a good design but some topics also teacher teach us in which is not matter for my branch. Teacher: student ratio is around 30:1. Teachers are well qualified and have good knowledge in their field. Most of them are PhD and Mtech and MSC. Due to corona exams were delayed for 2-3 months. Exams organize on Ms team's platform from where we have to give quizzes and exams. As we know online exams are not very tough to give.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunity is very good as around 60-70 percent student get internship in my branch and 80 percent student get ppo .so they not have to sit in placement interviews. Company like Goodman's Sachs , Microsoft, sprinkle , Amazon , Flipkart , Google visit college to take us as intern.
Placement Experience
Internship starts from the end of 2nd sem many big jaints like Google , Microsoft , deshaw , sprinkle , Goldman Sachs etc etc and many start up also starts by our seniors . Placements is also so good as in my branch max package is 52 lakhs and the average is about 18 lakhs you can know about placement from college dunia .
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees of my course and for my family income . Criteria it is about 64k per year and various type of scholarship like up gov scholarship, NSP etc . Our college alumni association is so strong .They also provide laptops to needy students .
Campus Life
The annual fest is culrav and the technical fest is avishkar . Avishkar mostly conducts around October and culrav around Feb March. Sports clubs are also there in college and a good sports environment is also present there. Extra curriculum activity is also present like we making drones under the robotics club and web development under Ecell mnnit. Mnnit Allahabad is so strict according to rules as there is allot of time to exits hostel rooms at night .
