NITJSR among top 10 NITs when comes to Placement.

I am a PWD candidate and appeared for jee mains with light hope in engineering sector but in very first attempt I secured 80 percentile and by exploring I got to know that being from this quota I can get a decent college than when I fillup the JOSA form then I got NIT JSR CSE in my 1st round and I was happy with that as my preparation was for jee. But due to covid we haven't yet visited our campus and are in online classes. The admission process due to its online nature was easy and not hepatic .

I haven't visited college yet due to covid situation but as I saw in online classes professor is good and highly educated some of them are energetic and enthusiastic to teach the students and they make online class similar to the offline environment but some are not well equipped with the new technology of online method that's why they are not able to connect with the students well.

Samsung and other major companies visit our college for internship offer at the end of 2nd year and some of them also offer students pre-placement offers which help to boost the moral of other juniors to get internships. Most of the development companies give their Internship and some startups like uber also started to visit our college for internship offers. There is a T&P cell that helps students to grab these opportunities

I am from the CSE department and the placement stats for CSE is best in other Colleges . This year we achieve 100% placement from CSE (88 appeared) and for other branches placement from industrial branch are best here than any other NITs due to its location and important of tata company so placement wise it is among the top 10 NITs. This year a boy from CSE got 35lpa from Amazon as an offer and average package is around 14-15lpa

As with other NITs it's fee is okey and being PWD I am exempted from tution fee and have to pay only for other charges and the mess and hostel is presently in online mode I am paying 15075 per semester as fee for other charges only . Scholarship are also available for poor children and meritorious students they can avail them from Central as well as state scheme

Haven't visited the campus yet so it's sad to answer this query but as per mentioned in wesite and ingshits from the senior, all the sports facilities are available there. For the co curriculum activities there are lots of club Like Rooh for singing Beat breaker for dancing Invicat for modeling Faces for fine arts Ahwahan for dramatics Nss for social services Litrery and debating society for as name suggest Etc But to get into them you must have better understanding and past experience othervise you will not be able to be part of that .

But as per the knowledge from a senior and a relative who passed out from there, it's average quality and the mess food are best for diet. They consist of proper nutrition balance and are neat and clean. You are not going to get the home-like taste but you will get adopted to it
