Through EAMCET I have attended the counselling and then got a seat for EEE in the college. Intermediate marks weightage is also considered while getting the seat.
Course Curriculum Overview
Regarding the course curriculum it is not as per the industry standards. Communication labs are so poor and there wont be and practical exposure to the students to improve their verbal and written communication skills. Further the curriculum is exam oriented than knowledge oriented.
Internships Opportunities
No there wont be any kind of internship in the college. Infact if the student gets the internship from outside or if the get their final project opportunity from outside the management will not give the permission to continue it and in some cases they will suspend the students if the attendance got reduced because of it.
Placement Experience
Job opportunities are very poor and infact zero. One two BPOs and other fake companies . And also management there wont be support from the director to bring companies to the college. There will be off campuses and even for that student has to attend on his own no training will be given or not even attendance if he attends interview there.
College Events
Epistemicon is a technical fest that is being arranged every year . It consists or paper presentation and project presentation . Participants are allowed from all regional colleges. Cultural fest are mainly to promote christianity in the college rather than being secular as far as my opinion is concerned.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As per the govt standards the general fee for convenor quota is 35 thousand. For management quota it varies from case to case. Min amount will be 50 thousand. And in the first year the fee will be high later on there will be reduction because in first year there exists a donation fee combined with university fee.
Fees and Financial Aid
I did not get any scholarship from the college . In general scholarship will be provided by state govt to ever students except OC's. I have got loan from Canara bank for studies that too from outside without any college support.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities Dancing , singing ,dramatics (only during college days and Christmas ). Enough labs and equipment in case of my branch (EEE). Grounds are there but students are not that much encouraged to play sports. Regarding college fests the do conduct them but mostly these fests are for name sake and will have no special scientific or extra academic purpose.
Exam Structure
Exam structure consists of two mid exams followed by one semester exam. In mid exams there will be subjective and objective questions combined for 25 marks . The rest of 75 marks are taken from the external semester exam conducted by JNTU kakinada.
