Happy Days

I wrote Andhra pradesh engineering set exam called Eamcet, i secured 76 marks out of 150 got 36000 rank at that time. I chosed it because it was in the top college list at that time. And also it was near to by my relatives place. Intially i got seat Sri Devi Engineering womens College Hyderabad and later i changed it to GIET, Rajahmundry.

I searched all details in the internet and books and got information and it was good as per all that of which i seen. All the infrastructure college resources are fine as i expected. I opted for ECE and CSE as my preferences and i get it as i wish. Every year as 2 semesters and all the course was well structured.

Our college does not provide internship to our batch, but i am not aware of whether it is providing now or not. But it all conducts various activities tech fest in state level and national level competitions.

Placements are very good to our college. Many Companies like TCS, Virtusa, Capgemini and so on were hiring at our campus. When coming to our batch TCS hired almost all people from ECE that is 100 out of 120 and overall 120 and Virtusa hired around 30 people from CSE, HCL hired around 100 people and some other companies hired us.

For Every Two Years we used to celebrate 3 days national level youth Festival where all the events will be organised and we all used to enjoy and chilled a lot. And Branch wise we used to celebrate National level Techfest for every year and winners will be awarded with exciting prizes.

For us Fee structure is very Reasonable and sufficient as anyone can bare at that time because free education system was available at that time. Normal fee also less around 30000 for year. But hostel fee was 45000 was more than college fee. Now it was more around 78000 per year.

Many people used to get scholarship on the college fee as per the reservation and financial economy.

Campus life and everything is very good at college but there is uniform dress code in the college that you have to check when joining. There is no gender diversity in our college everyone were treated as unique and equal importance. We have a 2 floor library, well grounded sports ground and the sport people will be encouraged. They are many workshops like robotics,cloud computing were organised at our college.

I can assess my college lecturers to good because they always tried to teach and complete all the syllabus on time and are enthusiastic to clarify all the doubts and try to make the class interesting. Some faculty are not upto mark but they are enthusiastic to teach.
