Remarks

The admission process for uiet Chandigarh is simple. you have to go through JAC Chandigarh councelling . register there and after registering choose colleges (out of 5) And your JEE scoresheet Class 12 board mark sheet etc. and after getting your documents verified admission process will start(4 rounds in total & last is spot round) when allocated a seat You have to pay 40000 to freeze the seat (this will also be considered as an installment for a 1st-year fee) There is also document verification (physically) but didn't happen last year (2020) due to tp pandemic.

Course Curriculum Overview

There are 1 major and 2 minor exams every semester. In offline mode, the exam is easy and moderate but in online mode (pandemic batch) by some Professors, you will get a paper that is too long to complete in the given amount of time.

Internships Opportunities

intership period starts from semester 5 . Big tech companies Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, Wipro etc visits uiet chandigarh for internsahips and also you can get pre-placement offer depends how you work there.Average Package for placement is 6 lakh and highest last year was 31 lakh.

placements are awesome here being affiliated with Punjab university (tier -1) we have a decent placement in uiet chandigarh (CSE). companiers for providing internships start coming from 5th semester onwards. Companies visited are - Microsoft, Amazon,infosys ,bharti airtel, etc. Infosys provides 70+ offers as per recent records.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a number of scholarship you can get in UIET Chandigarh. All these scholorship you can see on the website though it might take some time to open it(but if your luck is good it will open immediately).

Campus Life

Life is smooth on campus as I had heard from my seniors,you can get a feel of having white walls almost everywhere in uiet Chandigarh. There are various fests conducted in uiet Chandigarh (technical fest etc.) . Clubs like P club i.e. programming club, Dance club, music club, Debate, etc. in sports there is basketball, football, etc. We have a huge library ( AC Joshi library ). All is Well here.

Placement Experience:

Placements of this college is better than many tier 2 NITs . Students are eligible for placement in 8th semester. If we talk about the top companies visiting PEC, these are Apple, Google, Microsoft, American Express, McKinsey, JP Morgan etc.

Placement Experience:

from 5 semester you become eligible for internship and pre placements i think 56 percent of the students get placed i haven't thought much about what i need to do after the degree but definitely i would be considering gaining some experience in this degree to enhance my skills

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

Placement Experience:

For placement students can apply in their last year respectively Top recruiters at UICTE include Reliance, GAIL, Honeywell, ExxonMobil, and Technip, offering many roles, but exact offer numbers aren't publicly available. Highest package for chemical engineering this year is 12 LPA and average is around 5 to 7LPA I want to do something of my own after this degree

after 7th semester students are eligible for process of placemet many company recenty visited like tcs and infosys .average pacakage is around 700000 and highest pacakage is around 5200000 . 70% students got placed My plan is to join a good company after degree

There are on compus placement and few companies visit. But very few students are only selected and offered a package of around 5-6 lpa. Oracle, fy, hdfc etc In percentage placement is around 10%. I plan to apply for off campus placements and don't have any plans for mtech or any other cource.

I want to go abroad for higher studies and after that work for a multinational company. I will be able to learn so much about what has been taught to us, the highest package that was given was 42 lakh per annum and the minimum is 10 lakh per annum and CSE gets the highest number of the package.

BEST you can get in low JEE ranks. GREAT ROI.

One can get admission in UIET, CHD by applying for JAC CHANDIGARH counselling. One has to give JEE mains exam and based on its score, JAC Chandigarh conducts counselling through which admissions process occurs. I applied for YMCA Faridabad and DCRUST Murthal as well. I also applied for JOSAA counselling but due to my low rank in JEE mains, I couldn't get any NIT or IIIT. I was getting YMCA or DCRUST but choose UIET over them, because of its location.
