Hello guys! Nit Jamshedpur is a great college. And i am glad to take admission here. The criteria to take admission here is by giving jee mains exam. And your rank should be good enough like for electrical engineering under 18k and for cse under 12k. Here counseling process is done by Jose and you can avail by participating in that.
Course Curriculum Overview
The courses here are good enough you see all the courses here. And i chose electrical because of my interest in electrical things. And talking about faculty, they are knowledgeful and supportive. Jere all the faculties are well qualified upto p.hd. and at least have teaching experience of 10-15 yrs. Here exams are competitive and you have to study for it. You can also pass the exam by studying 3-4 days before.
Internships Opportunities
Here for core, you will get to work under industries like Tata and other industries are also here. And for noncore branches of you will get chance to do an internship in giant it companies like Microsoft. In 3rd year internships are started. You are given projects to do . And sometimes companies offer you Ppo on the basis of your performance in internships.
Placement Experience
The main feature of the nit JSR is the placements. The placements here are pretty enough good.The electrical branch has a placement of 92%. Cse has 98% placement. Pie has 87% placement. Mechanical and Ece has also placement above 90%. So you need not worry about placements. The highest package gone from here is 70 lac to the mechanical student of 2016 batch.And this year 2021 33 lac highest has gone and placement are still continuing.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee here is 1.04 lac per semester. But you can avail of remission if you are eligible. You can also get various scholarships on the basis of your performance. And the placement of the college is superb.
Campus Life
Culfest is the cultural fest of nit JSR and techfest is the technology fest . These are conducted every yr. And it is fantastic. Library jere is full of books and anre updated you will get every book of your study here. Talking about the classroom a new diamond hall jubilee complex has been constructed which is marvelous and big. And it is fully ac and loaded with new technologies. For extracurricular activities we have different cluns nad sports grp , wjere we can participate . In cluns you get a selection they you can be the part of the team. Jere you will enjoy a lot canpus life.
Hostel Facilities
Here we have mega hoatel which is best.we get single rooms from 2nd yr. And for forst year there is a double occupancy hostel where they are allowed to live . Facilities in hostels are that we get good rooms ,lift and lan and also better hygiene.Food quality is up to okay. You can atleast eat it.
