CSBS Student MITHUN's review on RMK College regarding the course.

I have got my government seat via TNEA counseling 2020, that means via Tamil Nadu state counselling. It was tentatively alloted seat based my cut-off of my 12th Board Exam Marks. In the procedure I was opted to give my choice list of colleges and preferred branch of study. It was my preferrence to give choices of ECE dept and CSBS dept in RMK ENGINEERING COLLEGE at first because of its renowned name in society for Discipline, Placements with high salary packages, Well maintained Infrastructure and Quality of food provided at mess for students.And the passed out student reviews (word by mouth) is very fascinating to hear so many positive experience in their college, when it comes for placements they are having very high chance of getting into companies as the students trained here are known for their Discipline.

First of all, I had interest in choosing a course of study like towards IT companies so that I get future proof guaranteed job for me for that I and my trend classmates are opted to join in CSE and IT for UG courses in engineering. But Eventually I got less marks in my 12th Board CBSE Exam [Biology Group]. I felt finally like my dream got vanished although i had another hope of Join in ECE dept because of my Physics marks and my cutoff (which is equal to 164.5) in a well reputed college so that i can get prepared with skills for IT companies so that i can excell in campus placements AND getting myself an IT job. I did lot of research for any other courses and got to see new courses such as Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Computer Science and Business Systems by TCS which i preferred to be great and had an eye on it. Thus got my seat in BTech CSBS in RMKEC.1:15 is faculty ratio. Many have completed Ph.D. Good in terms of online and offline Education.

They provide access to premium Online certification sites so that you can complete getting yourself skilled up and can do many freelancing jobs and part-time internships as well. They will guide you to do atleast 3 internships before the course program closes. You can register with Internshala Website for internships and use wisely you skill to get internship opportunities and get stipend as well by doing the job as well by yourself.

Sixth semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements also they can do part_time jobs during the college class if the company got to you offered. In the 2020 refresher bridge course, they tend to show them as well. About 40 companies take students via campus and the offer made in RMKECC campus placements 2019 is around 350 i suppose among all students of another course UG as well. In 2020 it went to 443* out of 563 registered students and you can find these details in the college website www.rmkec.ac.in After getting the degree i am planning to get job and after 2-3 years planning to do my own business.(entrepreneur).

Regarding Fees, Because I got placed in this college in a government seat MY fees are around 24,000 Rupees per Year. Also, I had My First Graduate fee concession scheme applicable Otherwise the fees would have gone to around 1.45L per year. I know many of my friends got seats via management Quota, the fees for them is 1.60L per year. And College will also ask for donations of upto 3 Lakh + management quota fees based on the Cut-Offs and courses you opt for. Regarding i am assisted with many online sponsored course certifications so that i will be getting a certificate from Coursera, Edx like platforms so i can post them on my LinkedIn Account for Attractive Resume.

They will lots of competition on a monthly basis and on Daily basis there will be Skillrack online aptitude and coding test. Large Library is present with lots of books they are also switching the old editions to new ones in this lockdown And also you can now able to visit the digital library which is complete during the lockdown. Classroom Amenities are there are many Labs but not integrated built-in classes.. As far as Sports is concerned Unfortunately i didn't experience it because of the corona pandemic.. and the online commencement of classes.
