Remarks
I chose IIM Raipur over other IIMs because of the placement report they have and various companies that have been visiting the college so these things really mattered to me.i have short listed for the CAT exam, the first round of selection is WAT (written ability test) consequently you have to give your interview and based on your interview performance, profile, etc. they will short list you for the further selection process.
Course Curriculum Overview
IIM Raipur allows the students to choose various options on their subjects. it has also various options on elective core subjects like general management strategy, finance, marketing, etc. IIM Raipur is known for Marketing and most of the students opt for marketing program. there are very well known faculty in our college and even some faculty visit our college from other IIMs like IIM Calcutta and IIM Kozhikode. so the overall learning experience is wholesome.
Internships Opportunities
In terms of the summer internships the average stipend is around 88000 for two months and again in terms of the functions and domains sales and marketing data outperform.
Placement Experience
The final placement are something that i believe IIM Raipur is doing really well in, for the last 2 or 3 years IIM Raipur has seen a upward trajectory in terms of the growth that to the final placement the average CTC has taken and if i talk about the numbers the average CTC was somewhere around 15.5 and median CTC was around 14.8 and in terms of the sales and marketing domain which is our portages at IIM Raipur we touch somewhere around 18 LPA last year in terms of the average CTC in the sales and marketing function.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The overall course fee that is charged is around 15.2 lakhs and its divided into trimesters model so the fee for one year is some where around 7 lakhs.
Campus Life
In terms of the campus life i don't really have it as of right now but whatever we are managing right now is in online medium that is something i believe its the testament students of IIM Raipur that they have actually worked around it. We hope we would get back to campus soon. As for now its not that bad but could have done better.
Admission
During my CAT interview i got the topic How China is growing and how India can compete with China and make it into the global economy. in terms of the interview process they mainly focused on my work experience and they gave me some intensive situation to solve and they ask me why you chose this particular path to solve this situation. And i spoke about my hobbies and also they checked my general awareness from current affairs.
