This year the whole curiculum is based on online mode and virtual teahing. There are mid term, end term, group project, assignments in the curriculum. The faculties are very dedicated towards the students. Apart from the normal lecture sessions, the teachers also take extra classes for those students whose didnot understand their lessons properly. Teachers also share materials like reading materials, case materials, and videos to watch so that it helps us to understand and learn better

This year final placement is yet to be happen. There is summer internship programme which was usually held in term 2. But due to less time, this year it was held in term 2. Many companies come to the campus interview and offer role for Finance, Consulting, General Management role, Sales and Marketing, Operations, etc. Besides these, some other roles offered are supply chain, business development role.

As i belong to a general category, i have to pay around 2300000 lakh for two years. The institute also offers loan facility to its students. The loan process has been collaborated with State Bank of India which is inside the campus of the institute. The institute also offers Scholarship facility. The institute releases scholarship programme for its students on time to time. Apart from this, some companies also releases scholarship programme on basis of essay writing competition, etc.

The life at the campus was good. There are lot of clubs like C- Club, Product Management Club and alumnized self, etc and myself is a part of these clubs. Many activities are going on in the institute. In the last December, we had a business management and cultural fest.

There is no group discussion in Indian Institute of management, Calcutta. The institute takes Written Ability Test (WAT) for which they give only 5 to 10 minutes to think and 15 to 20 minutes to write. Apart from Written Ability Test, the institute also takes Personal Interview in which we are asked about ourselves, hobbies, achievements, etc. The topic for the WAT is Mental Health Programmes, increasing number of students who shows sign of depression and anxiety and the meaures to tacke the situation. The most important thing that notive in the personal interview round is how we present ourself. To qualify the Personal Interview round, a candidates should be calm, composed and confident.
