* the comparison of pros and cons are based on all the colleges under GGSIPU and not IIT, or NITPros:Transportation: college is well connected and within metro, bus routes, the choice is yours.Good campus: In GGSIPU campus of ADGITM is one of the best.Faculty: Faculty are good and always there for your helpCollege Societies: From sports to arts and culture to entrepreneurship college has societies, if you want to join and explore then society are one of the best place to explore as they are quite active.Infrastructure: the college has good infrastructure considering other college of GGSIPU.Cons:Placement for other branch than CS and IT are very rare if you want to work in core sectors.The education is based on to get marks in the end sem and not to learn and grow, which is the sad part.Investment in societies by college is negligible, student manages most of the events by themselves that is one of the reason most of the societies underperform than their calibre.If you are getting MAIT or GB pant go for that as the education is quite same but there you can get more placement opportunity in the core sector. and more space to grow.My time admission was based on GGSIPU CET but now it is based on JEE Main score as GGSIPU comes under JEE Main.

Mechanical was the course i choose because i was interested in that, if you are going only for placement do not choose this course as you will be disappointed, faculty are helpful, and understanding but if it is about quality of teaching they lack as the focus is on to get marks in end sem and pass the semester than to learn, both students and faculty focus is that so they teach accordingly. The condition of laboratory is good according to GGSIPU standard but do not expect anywhere near to IIT or NIT standard. There are on average 60 students in a class. Term exams were timely in December and May and according to it is not at all difficult to pass, the passing percentage is 40%, if you prepare well your subject previous year you are good to go. even study before one night can easily help you score 40 in your exam.

The on campus internship opportunity are close to none, there are internship fair organised but that are not regular and mostly jobs are for marketing or IT based, so for core sector there are none internship opportunity on campus but off campus there are various internship opportunity and most of the student go for off campus internship.

The placement is majorly or CSE and IT, ECE branch. Company visit for them and other sector most of the companies offer marketing profile and not core profile, Core sector companies are a rare site on the campus and very hard to get as they offer placement to rarely 3-4 students when they come. You are eligible for placement in 7th and 8th sem, average package is around 350000, with highest around 600000 and lowest 300000. Most of the students are placed either in Infosys or at a marketing profile.

Fee per year is about 100000 (+ -) 15000, there are mainly two scholarship provided one is by university and other is by delhi government, the scholarship amount is based on your financial condition. and if you have a decent academic record you can easily get a scholarship. There are no campus jobs but you can contact some people who can help you freelance outside campus.

There are sports team in the college for most of the known sports, and societies are there for various art and culture, entrepreneurship, etc. Annual fest occur in the month of march. and good if compared with other GGSIPU colleges, Events on campus takes place as this is one of happening college on GGSIPU standard. Social life id not very good but not very bad it is fine.

The college does not have Hostel facility but there are PG easily available in the area with rent being at an average 7k including food and internet. Other than that students also choose to live in GTB Nagar as for good area and locality and DU crowd. GTB Nagar is very close and accessible to the college.

Yes there was a written test and the admission is purely on the base of written test, and rank achieved in that written test. Written test is JEE main and it is based on physics, maths and chemistry of 12th standard.
