Maharana Pratap engineering college is best among the private colleges in Kanpur. It is the first private engineering college in Kanpur stablished in 1999 and from then It's been the best among all as it has the best experienced faculty and infrastructure with lush green campus. Maharana Pratap engineering college is best suited for me as it's in nearest city from my hometown.

I chose computer science because I have my own interest in digital world all set to emerge in near future throughout the world. I found MPCE faculty very much calm, knowledgeful and supportive in academics and extra skills as well. Curriculum is as suggested by AICTE. MPCE students perform great in university examinations of AKTU to which college is affiliated. Also with support of faculties student score good in GATE etc.

Rapid innovation provided good internship opportunity for 3rd yr student in filed of AI, web development and blockchain. 7 students got selected also some students get internship from internshala. One of My friend got intern at DRDO.

Students start to get placed from first month of the final year. Student got offer from IBM, AWS, TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, INFORMATICA,GLOBAL LOGIC etc. 19LPA was highest by AWS and others offered more than 3.5. More than 80% students get placed. I have my plan to work in MNC after B.Tech.

Fee structure is not so high compared to other college in Kanpur itself taking all the facilities in account. Students are not very much pressurized for the fee hikes and scholarships by the samaj kalyan vibhag of UP is very much helped by college administration to get most out of it for each eligible student. Students are also helped with financial assistance if needed.

There was an amazing fresher party named NOVAK hosted by 2nd year students for us then in month of Feb there was huge organized3-day college fest named ENCUENTRO. Enrich college library provides you free books to each students for academics also magazines and journals. Most of the lecture halls are facilitated as smart classrooms. There are a lots of sports & extracurricular activities taking place all the time like hackathons, competitions and sports tournaments, MPPL(Maharana Pratap premier league) is most famous cricket tournament. UTTHAN & SANKALP are two social clubs active nowadays.

hostel facility no less than any other college in India as room facilities and mess foods are as per standard. After 1st year I rented room just out of college, there are plenty of good hostels and mess outside the college at walking distance.

If students are taking admission by UPSEE counselling then they don't have to face any group discussion, interview, or written test for the admission Otherwise there is a set pattern of considerations for admission involving group discussion, interview, or written test also the 12th percentage.
