Remarks

This college is situated in urban bangalore with good faculties and good ambiance for studies and everything. They provide a good quiet ambiance for concentration and everything. As it is at bangalore they provides internships and placement assistance also.

Course Curriculum Overview

Academics consists of 4 sems, Faculties also are of very nice in teaching and clarification of doubts. And they are of very friendly. Extra curricular activities are also included. The exams come once in 6 months with internal exams also.

I havent applied for any internships because I am in first semesters. Internships also are very easy to get because college is situated near to many industries.And assistance may also be given from colleges also

In undergraduate programs, The placements happen in 5th or 6th semesters and in post graduation programs it happens in 3rd semesters. Many companies come here with average salary package for both techies and management courses

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is of 200000 including 4 sems. Each sem of 50000, and of no extra fees. Scholarship availability is for Karnataka students I think. Other native students might not get scholarships. Financial assistance is of education loans.

This college consists of Two big libraries which are for under graduate students and post graduate students also. Also consists of very big collection of journals and books. Also contains numerous clubs to join.

Hostel Facilities

I am at a flat nearby so I dont know correctly about Hostels in the college. The hostel also is located inside the college campus. It is a good place in which hostel is located. Majority of the students in college reside in Colleg Hostel.

Admission

There were no tests for entrance,for some courses for MCA and MBA I think there is CAT exam which is mandatory for Bangalore University.So students may want to write CAT exams for admissions.Also,Anybody can get admission via Management quita also

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

Placement Experience:

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.
