Globsyn Business School is the first private corporate b-school in India. The faculties are always very helpful in teaching and co-operating the students. The admission starts from the month of February and closes in August. This instituition provides 100% placement to the students ensuring a secured future for their career.
Course Curriculum Overview
The PGDM course includes Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Information Technology, Operation Management. By taking admission in this course, I have learned the working process of the corporates, It gave me the knowledge of begining a start-up. The faculties are highly experienced and open to all. Four semester exams are conducted in this course(duration 2 years). The semester-I and semester-III exams are conducted in the month of December and the semester-II and semester-IV exams are conducted in May. The answers in the exams are to be written on the concepts learned in the classes. There are also two scholarships to help the students.
Placement Experience
After the SIP students have to choose a major(among Marketing, Finance and Human Resource). From the month of September the final placement starts. The institution offers 100% placement to the students with an average 5.5 lakhs per annum. ICICI Bank, Jaro Education, Muthoot Fincorp and other big companies and the highest salary offered is 12 lakhs per annum.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The total fee is 790000. It is to be paid through seven installments. There are two scholarships available in that institutions. In one, the total tution fee is returned back to the students(eligibility-minimum overall CGPA-6.0 with 60% marks in the 10th, 12th and graduation) and in the other, partial amount is returned back for the students associated with extra-curricular activities(eligibility-minimum CGPA 5.0). The average salary students get is 5.5 lakhs per annum. All the faculties of the placement cell try their best to provide jobs to the students. After the semester-II exam, all the students have to complete their SIP(Summer Internship Programme) that gives an exotic experience to be corporate ready.
Campus Life
An annual research workshop is organised every year in Globsyn Business School. Students take a topic of syllabus and publish research paper on it. Another fest called Serendipity is held annually and it is the biggest fest in the institution. A foundation KYLF has been made to support the poor students. All the classrooms are big and air conditioned. Free wifi is available in the campus, a huge library is there for providing extra knowledge to the students.
Admission
There was a personal interview and written test for taking admission in this institution. Before the PI, the Dean of the Institution communicates to the students. In the written test, the answers are of multiple choice type and a paragraph is also needed to write.
