Welcome to engineering

I want to pursue my career in civil engineering, since in civil engineering there is very less scope in private sectors and only few companies come to colleges for recruitment so i have decided to join this college as i have heard from my relative that this college is good for civil engineering so i have preferred this college over other and fees is low when compared to other colleges.I have applied to this through college level counseling since my jee score was low.First year was good since subjects were common for all the branches.In the second year when students were shifted to their branch department, from here the actual journey began.Faculties of civil branch are well educated and they clear ur doubts, some are strict as well, they have focused on practical knowledge, attendance wasn't an issue u don't need to maintain 70% attendance,The only thing i didn't like about my college is assignments, they gave too many assignment nd we need to submit them on time, u may have extra time but it is really irritating to write all these assignments.

Civil engineering is future, the best thing about this branch is that u can feel it anywhere, if u are reading this while sitting in a room ask yourself why ceiling above your head is not falling. Another reason was many exams are conducted every year for civil engineers so if you have good theoretical and practical knowledge you can crack them easily.During the first year students maintain their attendance so mostly their will be around 1:60 ratio but from second year onwards it starts decreasing in the third year it will be reduced to half,Teachers are well qualified, don't lose your focus during the lectures, listen everything careful you will understand everything.There are some new teachers now i can't tell about them since i don't have any experience with them. They teach on board and during the Corona period as well they taught on boards, i don't like watching lectures where teacher is writing on a notebook so i prefer board.Exam pattern is similar to other colleges, mid sem than main semester exam.It doesn't how hard your subject is if u r studying engineering you can prepare it in a night before the exam.Hail engineers.

I have done my internship from Agrawal construction,College will suggest you their partner name you can do your internship from there.My internship experience was good the only problem was i need to travel 25 km daily since it was very far from my hostel but I've learnt alot there

From 6th sem onwards they start giving campus training, from 7th sem you will be eligible.Many companies have visited our college and placement ratio was good.But you have to give efforts from your side as well, they will give you sufficient opportunities, many reputed company comes to our college every yearLike wipro,TCS, Amazon, capjemini,HP and many more, few more companies for core branches.I have heard highest package was 16 Lpa offered to a mba student, and from engineering branch highest was 12 Lpa.I have completed my graduation in 2020 and now I'm preparing for government exams.

Scholarship is available for reserve categories, it isn't mandatory to pay the bus fees, if u can travel to college on your own than you don't have to pay it but there is one condition-You have to pay your fees jointly that is no installment.No hike was there during my time.If you are from cs/it/ex/ec you will get many opportunities infact over 25+ companies came in 2020 for recruitment, you have to clear their rounds and you will get job.College do conduct some classes for aptitude and reasoning.And they give campus training as well.

Sagar fest is conducted every year, A 3 days festival packed up with cultural, sports, tech events.You can take part in any event they will reward you with a certificate, certificates helps alot during interviews.We have a library, from there you can issue any book you wish to read, you have to register your name if you are taking any book with you to outside of library.You can take part in sports like cricket, volleyball, badminton, we have a sports complex there you can practise Indore games.Sports events continues through out the year so u can take part anytime.You can follow college pages on social media for more information.

I didn't take hostel facility, So i can't comment on that but i have heard from my friends that hostel was quite good, meal quality was average you can't expect good meals in boys hostel, but man hostel life is better and you will learn many new things.i stayed in a private hostel in indrapuri, sector c,My hostel fees was 4500/- per month meals included.I was satisfied with my hostel services.Infact it was way better than the other hostels.
