I took a direct admission by applying with my higher secondary marks. The college prepared a merit list by marks.
Course Curriculum Overview
I studied Electronics and communication engineering. The lab facilities are excellent and superb coaching by faculties. So we can make a keen study in the field from basics to advanced level. The course structure is divided into 8 semesters, foundation course for first 2 semesters. From 3-7 semesters we will study basic electronics and communication fields to advanced level. 8th semester is meant for Project works.
Internships Opportunities
I think they are offering internships now. But when I studied there is no internship offered to us. The curriculum changes are done each year so internship schemes may be introduced.
Placement Experience
Placement cell is available in the college. Usually there are lot of companies including software, mechanical, electronics and civil fields come over there and make interviews. That is usual annual process in the college. In the final years students were send to other colleges too to attend interviews.
College Events
Several cultural and technical events will be conducted throughout the year. Technical events for all departments will done on annual basis. There are a lot of other state students were studying there so, in college we celebrate several cultural events without the barrier of culture language and religion. Technical events are productive in nature.
Fees and Financial Aid
Loan facilities are availed by banks connected to the college, all paper works will be done by the college, no need of panic.
Admission
Notification was released in the month of April, my native domicile place is in Kerala so there is no tests are available for other state students because the college is situated in Tamilnadu. Application forms are filled and applied before last date. After preparing a merit list the college informed me officially and after that there were an interview. After interview you will be admitted.
Faculty
Faculties and lab assistants are well qualified and have deep knowledge in the field. They are actually guiding through the course so we came naturally into the subject. They assess all of the students and find out each one's weak points, and try to encourage them.
