Remarks

There are many factors that made me choose SJMSOM IIT Bombay. Firstly, the college charges less fees as compared to other colleges. Secondly, it has an amazing campus and one of the best campus in the whole country. The whole environment is full of greenary. Thirdly, the faculty is very good and lastly it has an wonderful alumni. The college has a great ecosystem which make connected with the alumnis.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The whole curriculum was divided into four semester. There are two semester in a year. In each semester, we have two terms. Altogether there are eight terms in the two year couse. This year due to the pandameic situation, the curriculum is going online. All teachers are very good. Among all the faculty members, i have one favourite teacher. She is very warm and energetic. Computer Academic Task (assignments) are given by the faculty on regular basis.

Placement Experience

3.5

There is 100% summer placement in the college. Final placement is done after summer placement. Some of the top companies that come for placement are Flipkart, Asian Paints, etc. The medium salary package offered by the companies is around 2.5 lakhs and the highest salary package offered is around 3.2 lakhs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As compared to other colleges, the fee structure is less. The total fees for the two years course is around 8 to 10 lakhs. In each semester, we have to pay around 2 to 2.5 lakhs. Hostel fees is excluded. They donot charge much for the Hostel fees. The college offers scholarship to its students depending on CGPA. They select few students in the 2nd year and provide scholarship to them. The coolege also have foreign programme and be given scholarship based on CGPA.

Campus Life

The duration of the WAT is 30 minutes. The topic i select for the WAT is "Construction of Roadways and Railways and Privatition of Railways and how its impacting the society." For the Written Ability Test, we have to write around 300-400 words. For the Personal Interview round, there were three penalist.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.
