IIM Raipur is selected because of the factor that IIM Raipur is at 28th position in Indian ranking for MBA. Placement of IIM Raipur is very good. And many companies came in IIM Raipur for recruitment.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum of IIM Raipur is basically case study teaching. It offers various specializations in finance, marketing, HR, strategy, general management and student can also do major in multiple specialization so there is possibility for students to explore in MBA with multiple specialization.
Internships Opportunities
Last year, summer internships average package is of 88000 for 2 months and highest package is of 3 lakh for both months. A lot of startup and around 150 companies came in IIM Raipur.
Placement Experience
Placement is very good. Last year average package is of 15 lakh. Majority companies recruited for sales and marketing background. A lot of companies like Asian paints, ICICI, Deloitee, Nestle, cognizant and so no came here for recruitment.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is 14.2 lakh including mess charges. IIM Raipur also provide an international trip for final year students and expenses foe those are included in fee. Yes college provide scholarship based on academic background of student.
Campus Life
There is online classes going on so student interaction reduce a bit but we are copping with the situation. There are 8 committees and 12 clubs. Different specializations have there own club plus there is cultural club. In committee there is placement committee, international relation committee, media and PR cell. And it is student driven college.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are very good. And the students are provided with single occupancy rooms. Food quality is also good and the food expenses are also included in the fee structure and it is affordable.
Admission
After CAT exam, based on percentile students are shortlisted for interview. Old IIMS has GD round but now there is no GD round. CAP has WAT round and topic varies from on current affairs to abstract, basically its up to creativity of student. In interview, questions are asked based on experience specially work experience, academic background and what knowledge you have on current affairs' and how you well aware of situation you are in economic background, also test about you know about your hobby and how you creative you are. For shortlisting college consider consolidative score in percentile, WAT section followed by interview.
