Remarks
I applied for many colleges and chose IIT Hyderabad due to its modern infrastructure and environment. I got admission through General Quota. Admission was done through JEE. The admission process was online and was done through a common portal for all JEE applicable colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course due to its diversity and importance in the real world. The faculty to student ratio is 1:8 which I find pretty helpful. The teachers were experts in their respective fields and experienced. The tests used to occur every month. The semester was divided into 3 segments and tests were taken for each segment. It allowed us to be consistent and improve our studying techniques.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are aimed at improving our technical knowledge. Many big MNC's provide internships and jobs due to their location in Hyderabad. Also other than internships, students create research projects under mentorship from the teachers.
Placement Experience
The percentage of students getting placements changes every year according to the student's requirements. Many students opt to pursue higher education. The average packages offered are around 11-12 lacs.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees were pretty reasonable and worth the values and opportunities are given to us. Several scholarships were given to the applicable students through the Indian Government and the Institute. As such no stipend was provided to teaching assistants.
Campus Life
The institute conducts fests yearly and it is coordinated by Elan Nvision. The fests are wholesome and a great experience. There are many clubs that are run by the students which help in building and strengthening our extracurriculars.
