I got into this college with my twelfth state board exam scores. Since this college had a good reputation and I was interested in bio-technology course, I have chosen this college.

The course structure was well organised with efficient staff members. The lab facilities was very good. The course offered good knowledge and provides opportunities for higher studies. They also develop communication skills by means of English lab which was one of the best to use.They also have a huge library which was very helpful.

Yes, They offer internship. But the internship was introduced lately and hence I could not remember any details about the internship.

The placement is very good in SASTRA. Even I did not clear in my campus placement there were many people who got placed through campus. Lot of companies have come for campus recruitment like TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, CTS, Hexaware etc. The initial offer was around Rs.4.2 lakh at that time.

There were so many technical events like paper presentations, conferences and cultural events like cultural festival were organised. Our college has won many inter cultural events. Every department has technical and cultural teams to organise the same as well.

Yes, they offer scholarship for toppers but full details I did not know. But education loan can be availed from banks which many students have availed.

Campus life was very good. There was no biased system based on gender, religion or language. The infrastructure was too good with a big play ground. The quality of the institution is very good in shaping a student in all means. They also follow strict discipline in the college and action immediately if any issues.

The exams were not much hectic. Infact it was enjoyable. The exams were well organised. 50% of the scores from internal exams and 50% from main exam was considered. It was quite good. The lab exams were also well organised and well equipped.There were enough study holidays given to prepare for the exam.

The application form was collected from the campus after the twelfth state board exam results. Once the form was submitted I was call for counselling on a particular date to choose my course. They shortlisted on the basis of my twelfth exam course and the students were called based on scores i.e. higher score means, counselling on the first day.

The faculty of our college were very disciplined, organised, helpful and very efficient. They were having good knowledge in the subject which they taught for. They were very open in clearing doubts. They were also very friendly in handling issues as well. They also help in improving one's individual skills.
