I took VITEEE back in 2013. I opted for VIT as it is one of the nation's finest universities, especially for engineering. It was ranked number 1 private university by the MHRD, Govt. of India.

The course curriculum is one of the best in the country, with a focus on all levels of engineering and computer science, it offers in-depth knowledge into the field as well as allows a student to explore further with the help of multiple electives the school offers.

Yes, the Placement and Training Centre (PAT office) does provide internship opportunities for students, the stipend depends entirely on the company and type of course.

VIT boasts of having a 100% placement record, year after year. The placements are generally dependent on a student's self-performance. The PAT center tries to get each student placed with a good package. They also provide placement-related activities such as tests, classes, etc to students.

There are 2 major festivals in VIT, Gravitas, and Riviera. Riviera is the technical fest whereas Riviera is the sports and cultural fest. Colleges from across the country take part in both the fests. Riviera is rated as one of the best cultural fests in the country where famous artists perform each year.

Scholarships are usually available for top students of VITEEE, the college does not provide any loans however multiple banks provide education loans.

VIT has students from all over the country. It is a multi-cultural university. Gender ratios are approximately 7:3 (Male to Female) VIT has a lot of extracurricular facilities like gyms, swimming, sports grounds, indoor stadiums, etc. It has many competitions in all fields like robotics, finance, law, biology, chemistry, coding, hackathons, etc.

Alumni and senior students are always helpful. They encourage communication among students. The college also hosts sports activities and tournaments for freshers to get to know their peers and seniors.

VIT has a system where a student can select their own classes with timings they wish and professors they wish to take. This is called FFCS(Fully Flexible Credit System) It helps in planning classes as per need. There are regular assessments and tests throughout the semester as well as a Final Test.

VITEEE usually takes place in early April on multiple dates. The results are announced in late April/ early May and soon after there is a multi-level counseling process rank-wise. Students can opt for branches as per their rank. They also have to choose between campuses (Vellore or Chennai)

The faculties of the college are among the most qualified, they are always keen to help students and teach well in general. Most of them have years of experience and are alumni of some very premier institutes. The faculties are always available even outside of the classroom.
