College of vocational studies is known for its vocational courses which help students to know about vocational subjects. The admission process is fully online because of a covid pandemic. It was slightly easy to get in admission as compared to offline admission. The admission criteria were merit based which was based on du cutoffs. The teachers in this college are very interactive and helpful and the admission was followed by the orientation on the first day of the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are many vocational courses in this college and honour courses as well. I choose tourism management because tourism is a growing industry and this course helps students to understand the concept of economy and tourism in correlation with each other. The faculty is amazing. Teachers are very friendly and focused. The student ratio is higher than that of honours courses. Yes because of the high interest in a vocational field.
Internships Opportunities
The courses provide many internships for students to sharpen their skills and to get a job in future. About 50% of students get placed in our college every year. Companies like BYJU's, MakeMyTrip, and Tresvista visit our campus. The top roles offered in our course are business analyst, data analyst etc.
Placement Experience
Placements: Companies like Tresviata, etc., had visited here and offered the role of analyst with a salary package of 6.5 LPA. Mainly jobs were offered for all the courses. I don't know what percentage of students got placed. However, our college definitely provides a lot of options to choose from.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee in this college is very minimal for vocational courses. The fee is around 10500 rs per year which is less than the school fee. Scholarship opportunities are high and with higher placement.
Campus Life
The college campus is huge with a bigger playground for sports enthusiasts and the environment of the college is very cool. Every year an annual fest is conducted which is organised by the college societies. One main thing that makes college a place to study is its libraries. The college library is huge with 2 floors having books in huge quantity. There are many societies in college that help students to showcase their talent and enhance their skills.
