Remarks

I didn't apply for any other college as I was sure I wanted to take admission to SNU. The admission process for SNU was very comfortable and you need to give a SNUSAT and if you get selected there will be a personal interview scheduled for you.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The term exams were rightly timed and it was mediately difficult to pass. It was not very difficult but also it was not very easy. The professors are very experienced and skilled. They have a lot of knowledge and research abilities.

Internships Opportunities

5

At Shiv Nadar University, we have a department called CDC (Career Development Center) which takes care of matters including internships. From time to time, CDC releases internship opportunities to the students, listing out the criteria required for it. There is a selection process for it later. If someone wants, he/she can dig around for internship opportunities outside and can even request the university to make the internship official. And lastly, you can anyways find your own internships/training opportunities without the help of the institute.

Placement Experience

5

As per my knowledge, 70% of the students were placed from the final year. Packages went from 4 lakhs to 12 lakhs. Wipro was the top recruiting company from our college. Several internship opportunities are being provided which are very helpful. The top roles offered were Human resources and auditing

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many Scholarships being shipped by the Shiv Nadar Foundation. If you're eligible then you can access the scholarships. 50 k is the tuition fees and since the hostel is compulsory the hostel charges are 1lac/year.

Campus Life

5

This college does have a good infrastructure. Classrooms are very well built with comfortable chairs and tables and the washrooms are very hygienic. The food in the canteen is up to the mark as well. However, the ground and library are well established and are suitable places to hang out.

Hostel Facilities

4

Originally, when I joined the campus, there were three blocks of hostels, with three buildings each, but more than nine housing facilities for undergraduate, postgraduate, PhD scholars and faculty alike. The majority of these are booked for undergraduates. Fortunately, though, there is no more housing available on the far side of the campus, but unfortunately, they were housing only the female freshers and sophomores during my time there. Regardless of the surplus housing facilities though, the administration tends to be a tad unfair making hysterical and illogical adjustments to the hostel facilities for the students. Such absurdities primarily take place during the nearly three-month-long summer vacations.

Interview Experience

4.5

Yes, there is an interview round. My interview was very comfortable, the professors were very enlightening and the questions were not very hard but analytical and about the basic concepts. If you've strong basics then you can crack the interview round.

Course Curriculum Overview:

According to me you should choose Brahmanand College but as I wanted more practicals then theory work but it is not like that here because you get more time to study and practicals were less .Exams' timings were sometimes morning, afternoon so you will have to manage yourself accordingly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'd rate the curriculum 4/5. Topics like programing and data structures are super relevant.it prepares us for tech roles, but could include more hands on projects and industry tools. More focus on emerging tech like Ai /ML would be awesome. Exams are semester wise and okay.areas for improvement: internships, coding challenges, and guest lectures from pros. Solid foundation overall !

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the faculty teachers and all the staff was very good and the faculty teachers of the science were very fabulous in education causes me to choose this course... The curriculum here was in terms of social interaction was ok but it was not that good for the future real world academic pursuits as their were not that much activities for the social appearance... In terms of course curriculum and teaching method this college doesn't need much improvements because it is much better according to teaching method , as the teachers were good in terms of teaching... The timing and frequency was having much gap between one semester exam and the other semester exam , so there were not much difficulty in giving exams according to my perspective...
