Remarks
I applied for st Stephen's, Hindu college and Miranda house. But I was not selected due to the high cut-offs. In my college, college of vocational studies, cut-offs were suitable for me. For my course, it was 86% and I qualified for the same in the first cut-off list. Our whole admission process was online including document verification. We didn't have any counseling days.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose tourism management to explore the different aspects of tourism. It includes Marketing concepts and economical aspects of tourism. The faculty is very helpful. I had great assistance from the faculty during the admission process. Our teachers are friendly and well educated. They keep the students engaged even in the online mode. We gave our semester exams online. It was quite easier to pass as everything was online.
Internships Opportunities
We have a separate internship cell in our college. It provides various intership opportunities to the students. MakeMyTrip, goibibo, and many more companies offer internships with stipends. we had so many big companies coming to us for intership opportunities. We were lucky in this. The tasks were generally content writing or HR-related jobs. Many students applied for internships and got a good stipend
Placement Experience
From the 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Since corona, no companies have visited our college. According to our seniors, the highest package was 8lac per annum and the lowest package was 1lac per annum. 90% of the students get placements in our college. I plan to start up my own tour and travel company.
Fees and Financial Aid
My course fees are quite reasonable. It costs rupees 10500. It's the annual fee. We don't have to worry about monthly payments. We are charged extra 500 bucks for conducting semester exams. I haven't got any scholarships yet, as everything is online. But I'm looking forward to finding my dream job at my college.
Campus Life
All our college events were organized online. We haven't witnessed any event in offline mode due to corona. Though online fests and events are also fun to attend. Talking about the books and journals in the library, these are available 7 days a week. We can issue a book via our library cards. there are a number of extracurricular activities going on. These activities are very engaging. There are many societies that are run by students.
