I had applied for the same course in Scottish church college. Forms had to be filled online and only students who secured more than 60% aggregate in 12th standard can apply. After the form submission, merit lists were published, and according to the admission process was carried on. Bethune College has an upper hand because of the faculty who do not leave any tables unturned to give you the best.
Course Curriculum Overview
I've always been interested in computer science and hence opted for the curriculum. The faculty is excellent with a 1:4 teacher-student ratio. Exams are taken timely with mock tests and revision work done before hand to help the students perform well in their university exams.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are usually offered by companies who come for the placement drives for the students. Most of the time it's a paid internship but one may land an unpaid one too. Students go through a series of interviews and group discussion rounds to get qualified for the same.
Placement Experience
The second year students are eligible for placement facilities. Usually, 20-30% of the crowd gets placed but students opt for higher education and tend to focus on their academics. They often go for Msc or Mca courses to enhance their knowledge in the subject which also helps in better placement offers in the long run.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is perfect for students who do not have financial stability and since it's a government college, extra fares are minimum. A number of scholarships and stipend is provided to the ones who need financial aid on the basis of their merit and family income.
Campus Life
The college offers various opportunities apart from academics. There are clubs, sports events, annual fests where students showcase their talent, and other activities which not only give the students exposure but also a space to learn.
