Insights of IERT Allahabad

I had visited the IERT Allahabad on the Third day of AKTU counseling to get my seat as I got a rank of 20000 so I got Instrumentation and control engineering as the closing cutoff of Other branches except IP was less than 17000. So, Till Evening I got my Seat and I was provided with a College Identity Card only after paying an amount of 63000 so, it's mandatory for all the people to keep the cash along with them to get their respective seats otherwise they will be debarred from the counseling process, In spite of the pandemic situations.

Our Faculties are from Various IITs, NITs as well as IISC Banglore, So There is no objection on their qualifications and experience. They are quite well on their terms and teaching strategies. But, The main hurdle for me was the Online system as we had gone through Pandemic so Online Classes were the single option so, just because of that we had faced difficulties. Our Teachers are always motivating us to Study and not only studies they are also nourishing us in different fields also. Our Term Exams had been organized on time and Our faculties were completing Syllabus before the examinations and regarding the difficulty of the exams if a student is consistent in his or her studies he/she will not feel Term Exams as a difficult one.

Till now we are not eligible for internships as in the second year we become eligible for internships. So at this moment I can't say my experience regarding my internship and what were my projects during that period.

After 6th-semester students become eligible for Campus placements. Most of the time, mass recruiters companies visit our College, So the package is not as high as the IITs and NITs. The highest package is 20 LPA bagged by one of our seniors in Off-Campus placements. But Our Students are very much good at scoring good ranks in the GATE exam. The percentage of students getting placed is somehow between 50-70% because most of the students opt for government examinations. After Completing this Degree I am going to prepare for the GATE exam to get admission to an IIT for my MTech degree.

Our College IERT Allahabad is quite an affordable one for anyone who wants to pursue Engineering, as Our Aktu also organizes Scholarship programs for the various meritorious students they can get an amount of 52000 if they qualify eligibility criteria. The Reason for choosing this college for me was also because of the affordable fee structure.

We Had various sports and extra co-curricular activities been organized in our College but I can't say that how effective they are as I had not visited my college as a college student due to Pandemic. Our College has organized Google's DSC to provide internships for us. We have Two main fests:- Udbhav Technovation Our Library is also a larger one it has a large number of books of various genres. Our Classrooms are not well maintained as the college is an old one that's why I think so, But our Faculties are working on this.
