College for everyone

I have applied for the Bengal Institute of Technology, but I got a call from TIH and got placed so I didn't go to it. Quota what's that, every general student reading this review remember there is no such quota for us. Admission criteria are simple, one must have science or commerce in +2 with either maths or Computer and a minimum 59% percentage and anyone from any board can apply and students who passed the last 3 years can only apply. We need to place an inquiry in the college's official site then, we got a call from the college authorities to visit the college one day and clear all the qualifications and go through the admission process.

I choose this course because I couldn't get into engineering in computer science so, I had to apply for in this so that I don't lose touch with this background. Faculty: student ratio is ok ok, it's 1 is to 60, and faculty manage well. Faculty are highly qualified with every faculty holding PHD qualifications and their teaching quality is really good they teach every subject In such depth it is very hard to forget. Exams are taken every month and semester wise and exams are very easy to pass with one pay attention during class and giving exams and submitting assignment on time.

There were few Internship opportunities, one offer that was offered to our batch mates was from EKART, which was a 45 days Internship and after the end of this intership one would get 15000 stipends, but unfortunately, I wasn't eligible for this, and further, I didn't receive any intership, and this EKART intership was all about logistics work and data entry, and after this internship, one would receive perks like certificate and offers from Flipkart.

Placements of our college is moderate, it's a pool campusing where all these parts of techno college take place, it happens at Kolkata, students are eligible from 5th semester and main companies that visit us are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, CAPGEMINI, DELOITTE, TECG MAHINDRA, ETC. Highest package offered was by TCS that was of 4 lacs per annum for any bca students and lowest was 1.5 lacs per annum that was offered by CAPGEMINI, and 80% students get placed or got Internship form companies like this. My plan was after getting degree is going for masters and applying for big tech fortune companies.

During admission one has to pay 1st-semester fees + and admission fees together, so its a total of 30000 and for the rest of the semester one has to pay 24500 plus 1200 for exam fees which have to be paid on the University portal, and yes this was during 2019 but now my juniors have to pay extra 5000 every semester so the fees have increased by 5k within 2 years but nothing to worry if u think it's expensive there is a scholarship available for all type of students, from financial weaker students, to students to score well, for weaker financial students there is WBFS which is eligible if your family income is less than 1 lakh per annum and for others, there are kanyashree by WB govt, then India gov sponsored Vivekananda scholarship, etc.

Campus Life is good, no ragging every senior is like your friend and teachers are very helpful so nothing to worry, and yes there are 3 annual fest every year , one is concert, another freshers & another is tech fest, 1st take place at month of June then take place during September, and another take place during winter , yes books and journals are avaiu at abundance, classroom is same as in school nothing special , yes it's free wifi , every where, one can play anything and can do anything they want , every hobby is respected . Yes, there is one social grup that is the verbena committee, and one official website of the committee.
