Do engineering for exposure not job !

Since I go there through direct admission, I was asked to give a test in online mode. It contains mostly general ability and mathematics questions. after it on the admission day, they were asked to pay a minimum of 50% of 1st-year fees. And they only accept direct Fund transfer or Paytm. You can't pay your fees through cheque and they charge some money in case of cash.

I choose to engineer because I love machines. In my childhood, I used to open mobile phones,UPS,CPU. I love repairing my cycle, so I go for mechanical engineering. But I don't choose to engineer for getting a job. I really don't even want to be get placed. In abes there are too many students opting for CS & IT, and in the case of mechanical engineering, there are only 48 students. The teaching method is average like any other College. And they have very frequent exams Like St(in 1.5 months from starting of the college), PUE and then our University exams so basically in a year we give 6 sets of papers.

Most of the internship opportunities are for CS and IT-related students, And maybe it's due to there are only 48 in mechanical, around 80 in Electronics, and around 400 in CS&IT. Cisco is one of the companies which offers internships for them.

Regarding college, placement maximum offers to go to 10 lakhs on average. And average salary offered is between 2.5 lakhs to 4 lakhs. And most of the mechanical engineers end up in marketing jobs or are unplaced. For better jobs, it's been advised to prepare for Gate at least for core engineering job

Basic charges are -(each year ) Annual fees 110000 Book bank. 1600 Career planning 15000 Gpa insurance 500 Registeration 1500 Total 128600 for the second year) Then in 1st year during admission you have to pay some money to aktu (examination fees), you have to buy college dress through ABES of 8000, without buying a dress from there they will not give you admission it's compulsory Total it costs around 6 lakhs (without hostel)

ABED has I quite good library it has most of the books. College provides Book for the entire session. We have clubs like photography, literacy. Actually, due to Covid 19 , clubs were not open even when we go college (for a short period of time) so I really don't have an idea whether they are working or they are just for the name.
