All about IMI

The admission process was smooth, min cutoff marks need to be cleared to appear for GD, Just a minute and then interview. The student body was very helpful in carrying the overall process. Colleges I applied to were GIM, TAPMI, Great Lakes, IIT-Roorkee, IIM Nagpur, IMT Ghaziabad, and got into almost all of them.

Course Curriculum was as per the current industry standards. The curriculum is updated every year as per the new guidelines. IMI has one of the best faculties and they have done their Ph.D. from top institutions around the world and their research papers published in institutions like Harvard. There are 2 exams in a term, mid term and end term. Exams are fairly difficult to clear but manageable if attention paid in the classes.

The organization provides ample internship opportunities in all fields. For finance companies like arceisium came for summers and marketing opportunities were offered from companies like Tech Mahindra, Jio, Future Generali, Consulting opportunities from GEP and Deloitte.

The college has 100% placements. 5th term is kept for the placement process and a wide range of companies visit the campus from Deloitte, Reckitt, Axis bank, ICICI bank, Dell, Arcesium, etc. The average package is 11 Lakhs and the highest varies from 16-18.

The fees structure is slightly higher than the other B-Schools in the same league, during my course duration fees were not hiked due to covid. There is a scholarship available to the toppers of the batch. I got an internship with Reckitt, which is one of the best FMCG companies across the globe with a stipend of 75,000 per month.

Considering that I have joined the course during the COVID era, I am not able to enjoy classes on campus. The annual fest is called Kritva which is organized during Feb. Both the library and library are well equipped. There are a lot of extracurricular events that prepare the students for the corporate world. There are a lot of clubs/committees and societies run by the students in the institution. For eg. Marketing club, finance club, operations club, International relations committee, Sports club, etc.

Cannot comment on the hostel facility since did not avail it to date. The registration process however is very smooth and taken well care of. By the reviews of seniors, hostels are well maintained. The attached washrooms make it easier for the students.

The admission process has 2 rounds: 1. GD: Topics were a combination of both current affairs and abstract. I recieved a monetary policy topic. 2. Just a minute and Interview: In the interview, you will be asked to speak for a min on a random topic which the faculty will provide. The interview mostly revolves around your CV or current affairs. Preparation was done by reading newspapers and preparing expected CV-related questions.
