Remarks

The process was easy and good faculty is the best and helping college infrastructure and facilities are up to date and it has a good environment Library, seminar hall, and moot court are too present here for other circular activities Many societies are also there like dance music fashion and theatre etc. Quota is also available for OBC, ST & SC etc. Admission criteria are basically the one who is applying should have a minimum of 50% overall in 12th exams and there is no such minimum age I guess and then he/she has to go on with a paper of IP UNIVERSITY (GGSIPU) which is called CET (Common Entrance Test). The entrance paper for BAJMC includes media aptitude, general knowledge, logical and reasoning questions & English. When you get admission there is an orientation for 2 days and it is very fulfilling as you get an overall tour of the College and its infrastructure. Studio 62 is the best in DELHI METROPOLITAN EDUCATION. College holds an interactive session with the students for 2 - 3 days.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I personally chose this course because I was interested in media and its opportunities I want to be on television I wanted that exposure so that's why I opted for this course and anyone who aspires to be in media and its related industries can surely go with this course with no doubt. The faculty and student ratio is pretty good as for teaching one subject there are a good number of teachers who are well qualified. The teachers present in Delhi Metropolitan Education are well qualified and PhD holders to their knowledge horizon are very vast and splendid. The teaching method is very good like they use presentations and smart learning for teaching and as of now in covid 19 situations, they are taking classes in online mode which are very interactive with presentations and other sources. Teachers here have a good experience of teaching so there are no such problems for the students to understand the concept. Term exams duration every 6 months and are not so difficult to pass if you study.

Internships Opportunities

3

Due to this current situation going on of covid 19 there were in house internships held in different fields and students were asked to opt for the field according to their interest. In the 3rd semester, students are asked to do internships in print but as the covid was going on there was a house internship held and students were asked to design a magazine in different themes according to their interest. In the 5th semester students were given in house internships and fields like Radio, Television, PR, Advertising & Digital Media Marketing and the outcomes are yet to come.

Placement Experience

3

From the 2nd semester students become eligible for campus internships and from the 6th semester they are eligible for campus placements. Many companies visit the College for example Amazon, Wipro and many other. 60% of students get good placements, My plans after getting the degree are to pursue a master or to get a job in my field of interest that is Graphic Designing.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees hike policy is that if the university gives order so the college can increase the fees any time and students have to pay the extra amount and the cost to study is above average. Don't know the name of the scholarship but yes the university does provide scholarships and financial assistance to the students who require them most. There are some forms that can be downloaded from the university's official website which then can be filled and given for the required help. Yes, the College gives internships and jobs too with stipend but it mostly depends on your marks, skills, experience and on the projects you did in college.

Campus Life

3.5

Many events and fests are organised by the College annually some of the main are ICAN, Ciffi Film Festival and Vritika etc. University also organises annual fest named Anukunj which us very great and in a vast area and many eminent personalities are invited. Last time they invited Jass Manak. Every year the guest changes it is fun and many other activities are also held at the fest which are fun too. There are plenty of books available in the library related to every subject and extra books too for the research purpose and the books are new and updated always. Classes have projectors and smart boards and blackboards too. AC's are also provided in classrooms (2 AC'S) and they have big seats and desks for the students. College also has badminton football and many other sports too which you can play and can be a part of. Bodybuilding and weight lifting is also included & college have their own teams too There are some clubs which are run by students in college but not any social group orwebsiteassuch

Placement Experience:

80% students are placed through DME with a package of 5 LPA to 7 LPA on an average which is quite decent for a fresher entering the industry. The top recruiting are for placements are Bharat Express, PR Guru, Amar Ujala, Dynamite News, T.H.E.M.E.S. Over 90% of the students were placed for internship in Amar Ujala, PR Guru, Aaj Tak, ABP News and Doordarshan. Top roles offered are journalist, content writer, anchor, film maker, and back end roles like video editor, graphic designer and many more. I personally plan to go into video editing after getting the degree.

My main aim is to become an automobile journalist that is the aspect that influenced me to choose this course. Till the date i dont feel that improvements are needed in curriculam and teaching methods. As faculty is really good in teaching and timely providing notes as it really helps students to learn effectively for theory exams and concentrate on practical skills that are needed to secure good position in reputed firms in future

Placements of our colleges and mediocre. From 6th semester students become elegible for campus placement. The highest package offered was 6LPA and the average package is 3-4 LPA. Placement depends upon the students applying for placement through college. Many students gets internships or jobs by themselves before even reaching placement cell.

Students become eligible for placement during their final year of college. DME offers several different companies that it has tie ins with for placements to students such as Gadgets 360, Aaj Tak, Myntra, PTI and D&P. 70-80% students get a good placement package. My personal plan following graduation is to pursue my higher education in correspondence with employment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself was nothing out of the ordinary material, it teaches you the basics of the field but the faculties were pretty good and helped us understand not just the basic but a little more so that we could actually be able to work in the environment once we get there. Also they organise workshops which was mandatory for all the students without any extra charge to learn from professional what to do and how to do it best. We also used to get projects which actually helped alot in learning with practice the theory.
