Regarding college and placements

I wrote AP EAMCET in 2017. I got the rank which is not bad. After the result of EAMCET, it's time for searching and entering into college. I went through Ap EAMCET website for searching of colleges. I kept so many colleges in AP, but according to my rank and quota(OBC),I got allotment in Pragati Engineering College. In the month of June, I went to college for reporting. The admission process was simple. As a student, I carried allotment order, study certificate and tranfer certificate of both 10th and 12th grades, marks list of both 10th and 12th grades and scholarship details. College management will give forms which has to be filled by me like present address, permanent address, parent details, occupation etc.

I choose the course Electronics and Communication Engineering. I choosed it because of placements i.e., I can go either to software or hardware. In every college, Faculty plays an important role. Coming to my college, we have 400 Faculty members for all streams. Some Faculty were doctorates and some are PhD's, Assistant Professors. Every faculty has their own style to teach. Students can understand the concept easily. Coming to term exams, my regulation is R16. Syllabus will vary in every regulation. I had 2 mid term exams, each mid exam have 40 marks. And semester have 60 marks. It will be easy for a student to pass.

Complete semester percentage is included in campus placements. We got the companies like TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Accenture, wipro, byjus etc. For our batch we got 870 placements. Accenture recruited 304 members, some students have the package of 6.5 LPA. TCS recruited 127 members, some of them got placed for digital with 7 LPA.

In college, normal fee structure is 72,000/- for tution fees and 9,850/- - for JNTUK Fees and separate bus fee. Scholarship facility was there for merit students. In campus placements, I got selected in TCS with 3.36 LPA. Training and placement faculty taught us really good, they kept so much effort in our placements.

Coming to infrastructure we have the best equipment. And coming to tech fest, each stream have their own tech fests. Last tech fest was conducted in 2019. Because of Covid, college administration couldn't conduct tech fests in 2020. We have different clubs like Rotaract club of Pragati engineering Surampalem, press club, NSS, NCC etc. We have the good collection of books in Central library. Students can find books regarding Gate exam etc. We have sports day in our college, they will conduct different sports like cricket, volleyball, khabaddi, kho-kho etc.

Hostel facility for boys was there in college itself, girls hostel in kakinada. Bus facility is there. Each room is for 4 people. Coming to meal, food quality is good, taste is also good. Registration for hostel can be done in college itself.
