A Very Good College

I have completed my +2 in RMK Matriculation Higher Secondary School and then I really wanted to pursue my bachelors in RMK Engineeing College. The reason for this is that this particular institution is very unique from others. The rules in the campus are for everyone. From the Chairman to the non teaching staff, everyone follows the rules. Since I had fixed my mind, I did not attempt any Entrance Exam and I got admitted into the Management Quota. The minimum percentage to get admission to RMK Engineering College is 65% and you should be 18 years old.

The Course is well-structured and we have faculty members with great expertise. We will have a counsellor for every 20 students, who will monitor our activities and performance and would counsel us after every Internal Assessment. As I mentioned, our faculty members are well experienced and most of the faculty members are doctorates. Regarding the term exams, If we can carefully listen to the class, it is really easy to pass the exam with a very good score.

Our College is very good for placements. From the 6th semester, we will have our placements. The college gives us the best training for clearing the placements tests. Many bulk recruiting companies come to our college and hire most of the students by offering them a very good package. More than 80% of students get placed every year, which is really good. If you are not interested in placements, then you can register for Higher Studies and prepare for your Exams.

The fee structure is somewhat affordable when compared with other institutions. But, if we want some safety and If we want to nurture ourselves, it is really a very good option. Some students can apply for scholarships if they can satisfy particular criteria. Unfortunately, no Campus Jobs are provided in our college.

The library is the best place in the RMK Group of Institutions. It is really well maintained and there are lots of books related to Engineering. We also have many other books from other disciplines, Novels, Magazines and Journals. There are many clubs, which you can join like the math club, eco club. Being a member of an eco club, I experienced the joy of making seed balls and distribute them to everyone. Sports competitions are held every year, in which students from different departments or the same department compete in teams and the winning team is awarded. There will also be some cultural activities. It is so enjoyable to be a part of all those.

The Hostel rooms are very neat and hygienic. There will be separate Hostel blocks for girls and boys and these will be distant from each other. The food is so good. we will have South Indian dishes every day, which tastes exactly homemade. If we want to register for a hostel, we should do that during admission. The hostel fee is really affordable.
