Remarks

I applied for TAPMI and took admission here. Also, applied for KJ Somaiya and IMT Nagpur but didn't take admission as TAPMI is better than those. I didn't avail any quota while taking admission in TAPMI. I applied for PGDM-Core in TAPMI in 2021 and minimum marks in CAT/XAT should be 85 percentile. There was the advantage of work experience if it is more than 20 months at the time while filling the application form. The admission process is below: 1. Take CAT/XAT and store your marks. 2. Apply for TAPMI through its website, you can apply for as many courses as you want. 3. On the basis of your program selection, you will be given a date for the interview where all the program interviews will happen at the time, just one after the other. Each program interview was approximately 15 min where 2 faculty members were present in the interview panel. On the same day of the interview, you also have your Moderated Group Discussion with 6 candidates and you will be observed by the panel.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Here in TAPMI, the course is designed in a very organized way so that students don't have to worry about what to attend and what not to attend. I selected PGDM-Core as it is a general path and in the first year, I will have the liberty to study all the subjects and hence in the second year I can select the major and minors as per my wish. Faculty: student ratio is around 1:60 in every class. The pedagogy used by the faculty is really innovative and interactive here as we learn by case methods, group discussions, simulations. Exams are a daily thing in TAPMI and you have to be prepared at all times.

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship process here starts in Sep and companies will come for pre-placement talks. All sorts of companies visit the campus for roles in all domains such as sales and marketing, fin roles, Product Management, and many more. Most of the internships are paid in nature.

Placement Experience

4

In TAPMI, all eligible students are placed making it 100% placement. After the first year, campus placements start here. Around 130+ companies visit the campus last year to offer around 400+ jobs. The average package is around 11.7 LPA whereas the highest is around 25LPA. I will sit for campus placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees in TAPMI are similar to other B-schools of the same league. There are many scholarship opportunities here which will be provided to students on the basis of their CAT/XAT score and their family income. The detailed information about scholarships is provided on the website of TAPMI.

Campus Life

5

TAPMI has a nice infrastructure with hostels and mess. Brands can is the annual fest here. The library is quite huge with all the major books. There are 25+ clubs and committees which are solely run by students. For getting into any of these clubs/committees, there is a rigorous process including several rounds of PI, Case discussions.

Hostel Facilities

4

TAPMI is a fully residential program where all students are required to stay in the campus hostel itself. Rooms are allocated on a random basis where 2 students/rooms are allowed. The attached washrooms are available in all hostel rooms. ACs are given in every room along with a cupboard, bed, chair and table. Meals are affordable here and have to visit mess each time.

Interview Experience

4

Firstly we had our GD in a group of 6 candidates which was moderated by a panel of 2 faculty members. Then immediately after the GD, we have been assigned the order in which we have to appear for PI. PI was a bit stressful for me and held for 30 min approximately. Most questions were around your personality and want to assess your character. After that, another date was assigned for a written test which will assess your basic understanding of the English language. I prepared with my peers for all these processes.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage
