Remarks
I got admitted through UPSEE councelling, I had to fill the choice in the first round and this college was my fourth priority as it is fourth in the ranking. I got the seat allotment in the first round itself and then I confirmed the seat and took the allotment letter to the college where we had to fill some forms and after the necessary procedure, I got admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course Data science is new in India and is one of the fastest-growing fields and so it was obvious to choose it. The number of students in each branch is quite a good thing from a placements perspective. The faculty for the first year is one of the best among all UPSEE affiliated colleges the teachers are also well qualified. The terms exam was on time with a regular class test which prepared us well for the exams.
Internships Opportunities
Not quite familiar with the companies visiting the college for stipends and internships as we only went to the college for exams due to covid. The projects we heard from seniors were mostly on VR, programming, and game development.
Placement Experience
The students are eligible for placement from the 6th semester. The college is visited by some big names such as Wipro and TCS and much more companies. The highest package for last year was 15lakhs and the average package is 3.5-4 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placed is pretty good due to mass recruiting
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is pretty average compared to most of the similar colleges in the region. Still I think there should be some relaxation for fees not just in our college but most of the affiliated colleges. It is my first year so still, there is no talk about stipend and job and internship.
Campus Life
Due to the difficult time of corona, there were not any fests held but we sure have heard from the seniors about annual fests which are quite happening. The Library is well provided with good books and even newspapers as well as a digital library. The classroom is pretty average with a project and open-air rooms which are air-conditioned. There are many clubs that are quite active in intercollege competition in the region.
