THE INTERNSHIP CELL

ENTRANCE PREVIEW: I appeared for UPSEE exam conducted by APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University. I got 12k rank in it. I chosen this college because it was the only college which provides specific domain (Computer Science And Engineering) at above 10k rank. In the counselling I was given choice of choosing the college and the course ( I got computer Science And Engineering) which I want and I chose this. In counselling you are provided every information such as which college is appropriate according to your marks. The college itself take all the admission procedure.

COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW The college's course curriculum was very much thorough and informative. It gives student a chance to understand more about information technology in depth. We got to know about conceps, techniques and a lot of things related to the course in depth. The teacher to student ratio is about 1:32. Most of the faculty members have done their Masters from different institutions. The term exams are conducted by the central university itself and usually it is not too much hard for the students to face the exam.

INTERNSHIP: The internship provided to the students is not so worth it. The college usually doesn't have a proper internship cell. Usually the students have to compete on the outside internship programmes.

PLACEMENT CELL: The percentage placement of the students in the last 10 years is 69% which means about 70% of the students took a handsome job by the college. Companies like WIPRO ,TCS , MICROSOFT visit the college every year for the placement procedure. On an average a student secures a package of about 4.8 LPA and the highest package is of 25 LPA.

FEES: The college takes a total of 89000/- as the annual tuition fees for BTech and if the student wishes to take the hostel facility , it will cost him 45000/- extra. The university conducts government scholarship every year for the students to get back a handsome amount of money back.

LIFE OF THE CAMPUS- FGIET has a spectacular campus of 22.5 acre with several conspicuous features. The college has a vast playground in which the students usually play cricket and a lot of other games. Every year the college organises Cricket Carnival for the student who want to achieve some good place in cricket. The college also have a club for computer Science And Engineering students in which the extra specialties like poem, writing etc. of the students are shown in a magazine.

HOSTEL FACILITY: The campus consists of two hostels namely Rajeev Gandhi Hostel( For Boys) and Priyadarshini Hostel (For Girls). The hostel facility is available at the minimal cost of 45000/- per annum along with good room and food. The allotment of the hostel is done when you are getting admission in the college. The meals provided are quite healthy and purely vegetarian. Students get 3 time food aling with the snacks at the evening.
