GITAM ADMISSION TEST 2013, i scored nearly 90 marks and i opted this college because of its good reputation and also it provides more opportunities to fulfill my goals.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our college provides an excellent course curriculum that are useful for various competitive examinations. Electives such as CNC AND APT,MODERN MANUFACTURING MATERIALS ,NANO MATERIALS provides an opportunity to know more about these topics. DBMS also provides us with additional knowledge of database management.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, our college provides internship programs. But i am not aware of those stipend and all as i have not participated in those internship programs.
Placement Experience
Well, our college provides an excellent placement and job opportunities.Last year nearly 1300 members were paced in different companies.Multi national companies like Microsoft,TCS,Wipro ,Accenture,Tech Mahindra,Maruti suziki,FIAT and so on .They also provides a good salary packages as follows MICROSOFT -10 lakhs per annum TCS,Wipro,Tech mahindra,Accenture -3.5 lakhs per annum Maruti suziki,FIAT -5-6 lakhs per annum
College Events
Well ,every college organises technical and cultural events every year. In our college technical events like IEEE, Mech utsav and cultural events like GUSAC carnival, GEM fest were organised every year. Among this GUSAC carnival is a big fest where students from other colleges will participates in all the events organised by GUSAC.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Our college is one of the deemed university in India. Our college fee structure is different from other colleges. For our batch the fee structure is 169000 annually. For up coming batches it increases every year. According to me ,the facilities and opportunities provided by our college is vast. So the fee structure for our batch is feasible.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college provides a good scholarship based on merit in a particular semester.I availed this scholarship from my college 2 times. For every semester they provide scholarship based on merit . The amount of money they provide is 10000 per semester.
Campus Life
In our college ,there is no gender discrimination.Our college provides equal opportunities for both boys and girls.Our college organises various workshops,cultural activities,debates which helps us to gain some knowledge. Our college also encourages extracurricular activities like painting, dancing, acting and so on.
Exam Structure
Exams and labs were very common in engineering life. Labs were very necessary to gain some knowledge practically. In our college the exams and labs are not boring but instead we enjoy them .Before semester exams ,lab exams will be conducted and theory exams will be conducted after the completion of lab exams.
Admission
I got admission into this college through GAT(GITAM ADMISSION TEST). I got 7500 rank in GATE and i was called for a counselling to opt my preferred engineering stream. So after getting my preferred stream we have to pay academic fee at once at the time of counselling only. When i was in intermediate second year i came to know about this exam and i immediately applied for it.
Faculty
The faculty in our college are very much qualified and some senior faculty helps junior faculty to adjust to the situations and also share their experiences. Our faculty shows much interest not only in teaching the about theoretical knowledge to students but also shows much interest in teaching experimental knowledge.They provide experimental knowledge which helps students to understand the concepts easily.
