MPPET, 2010 I scored 116/200. I opted for this college since I was getting scholarship for TFW scheme.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure was defined by university- Rajiv Gandhi Technical University, where a new Grading scheme was launched the same year I joined. Curriculum was largely similar as before, but more focus on communication was laid. Course doesn't have much focus on research in first three years. In Last year we have final projects, where we could work out to prepare technical projects, this may involve bit of research.
Placement Experience
Placement opportunities for IT companies are good. Many people get placed in companies like TCS, Wipro, Zensar etc. Most of the students gets placed in these companies. For core engineering fields placements are not as high as for IT.
College Events
Many kind of events like technical fests, Annual functions, sports meets were held in college. Hobby club was initiated wherein multiple events for honing our hobbies were organised. Besides this college also provided funds for activities outside the college. Students were encouraged to participate in State level events and bring laurels.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure was similar to colleges in region. In my times fee was about 75000 per year. Category students got scholarships as defined by the central govt for OBC and SC/ST. Besides that a tuition fee waiver scheme for top students was also provided where whole fee was waived off.

Alumni/Alumna
Alumni meets are organised every year. However it is difficult to join them due to professional commitments, for this reason college has facilitated whatsapp and facebook groups for connectivity and communication.
Exam Structure
We had final semester exams six months and mid terms exams twice in between. Labs were chilled out in third and final year. Less stresses in terms of exams as syllabus was well structured, teachers focused on covering it end to end. Class days in first and second years used to be hectic.
Admission
Online Counselling after entrance exam was conducted where we had fill our choices of colleges. Based on merit list college was allotted and then we could go for registration in the college with required fee and documents. This process was a smooth process. We also had induction program where we got introduced to our faculties and batch mates.
Faculty
Faculty from college is good. I am personally thankful to faculties from first year, where good emphasis was laid on building good foundation for whole course. The quality of teaching deteriorates as we move from first year to final year. However, I came in contact of many expert faculties from department relationships with whom I cherish till date.
