Remarks
I didn't apply to any other college. No quota was availed by me as well because it was not needed. The admission process was very convenient. We had to give a test conducted by the college and all the students passing the test had to give a personal interview. Counselling day was also conducted and all the teachers guided us with the rules and regulations and the curriculum was discussed.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because my parents also took this course and they are very successful in life. The faculty-to-student ratio is about 1:20 which is pretty decent. The faculty members are really specialized in their respective fields and make the program more knowledgeable, efficient, and loving. Even in a pandemic, they managed to teach us online and as well as provide video lectures with constant webinars happening. Exams are conducted twice every year and they require round the year study to pass them.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees have been increased during the pandemic by more than 8%. The college tuition fees are very high for the course. The cost to study for students living in pgs is more than 5 lakhs every year which is very expensive. No scholarship or financial assistance is provided to the students in need so that is a big drawback for students belonging to middle-class families.
Campus Life
There is no major annual fest that is organized every year but there are several societies in the college for dance music theatre etc. Books are available in the library and all kinds of books can be issued for reading and there is 24/7 wifi connectivity for educational purposes. Classrooms are small and infrastructure could be improved drastically. Also, there are no major facilities for sports students so that is another drawback for the college but indoor games like chess and badminton can be played at the college level.
